شنگھائی تعاون تنظیم (ایس سی او) اجلاس کے سلسلے میں پنجاب حکومت نے بھی امن و امان کے لیے پاک فوج کو طلب کر لیا۔
اس حوالے سے فوج کی خدمات سے متعلق قواعد کا نوٹیفکیشن جاری کر دیا گیا ہے۔
نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق آئین کے آرٹیکل 245 کے تحت مسلح افواج کو طلب کیا گیا ہے، سول آرمڈ فورسز، پولیس سے مل کر فوج ایس سی او کانفرنس میں امن و امان برقرار رکھے گی۔
ایئر پورٹس، راستوں، مقامات اور ارد گرد کے علاقوں میں امن و امان برقرار رکھا جائے گا، فوج کو واضح غیر مبہم رولز آف انگیجمنٹ دیے گئے ہیں۔
نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق مسلح افواج، سول آرمڈ فورسز، قانون نافذ کرنے والے ادارے کسی بھی خطرے کی اطلاع حاصل کر سکیں گے۔
نوٹیفکیشن میں یہ بھی کہا گیا ہے کہ فوج دشمن عناصر، ہجوم یا فسادیوں کی طرف سے حملے یا دھمکی کے موقع پر اقدامات کر سکے گی۔

In connection with the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) meeting, the Punjab government also called the Pakistan Army for peace and order.
In this regard, the notification of rules related to army services has been issued.
According to the notification, the armed forces have been called under Article 245 of the Constitution, along with civil armed forces, police, the army will maintain law and order at the SCO conference.
Law and order will be maintained at airports, routes, locations and surrounding areas, with clear and unambiguous rules of engagement given to the army.
According to the notification, armed forces, civil armed forces, law enforcement agencies will be able to receive information about any threat.
The notification also states that the army will be able to take action in case of attack or threat by hostile elements, mob or rioters.
