Shahbaz Sharif and Hamza sought relief under the NAB Amendment Act.

وزیراعظم شہباز شریف اور ان کے صاحبزادے سابق وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب حمزہ شہباز نے نیب ترمیمی قانون کے تحت رمضان شوگر مل ریفرنس میں ریلیف مانگ لیا۔
وزیراعظم شہباز شریف اور حمزہ شہباز کے وکیل نے عدالتی دائرہ اختیار سے متعلق احتساب عدالت میں درخواست دائر کر دی۔
درخواست میں موقف اختیار کیا گیا کہ نئے نیب قانون کے تحت ریفرنس پر سماعت کا اختیار احتساب عدالت کا نہیں ہے، عدالت ریفرنس واپس چیئرمین نیب کو ارسال کرے۔
بعد ازاں احتساب عدالت نے درخواست پر نیب سے 11 اکتوبر تک جواب طلب کر لیا۔
عدالت نے شہباز شریف کی ایک روزہ حاضری معافی کی درخواست منظور کر لی، وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کے نمائندے انوار حسین نے پیش ہو کر حاضری مکمل کرائی۔

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and his son former Punjab Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz sought relief in the Ramzan Sugar Mill reference under the NAB Amendment Act.
The lawyer of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz filed an application in the accountability court regarding the judicial jurisdiction.
In the petition, the position was taken that under the new NAB law, the accountability court does not have the authority to hear the reference, the court should send the reference back to the Chairman NAB.
Later, the accountability court asked NAB to reply on the request by October 11.
The court accepted Shahbaz Sharif’s one-day attendance waiver request, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif’s representative Anwar Hussain appeared and completed the attendance.
