گولڈ میڈلسٹ ارشد ندیم کا گورنر ہاؤس پنجاب میں سلیم حیدر خان نے استقبال کیا۔گورنر پنجاب سلیم حیدر خان نے گولڈ میڈلسٹ ارشد ندیم کو تحفے میں گاڑی اور 20 لاکھ روپے کا چیک دے دیا۔اس موقع پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے سلیم حیدر خان نے کہا کہ ارشد ندیم کو گورنر ہاؤس میں خوش آمدید کہتا ہوں، ان کی کامیابی پر پوری قوم جشن منا رہی ہے۔ گورنر پنجاب کا کہنا ہے کہ ملک کے ہر حصے میں ارشد ندیم کی کامیابی کو سراہا جا رہا ہے، ہمیں توقع ہے کہ وہ مزید ریکارڈ توڑیں گے۔
ارشد ندیم نے کہا کہ گورنر پنجاب اور پوری قوم کا شکریہ ادا کرتا ہوں، اللّٰہ کا شکر ہے کہ پورا ملک مجھے عزت دے رہا ہے۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ کسی بھی کھلاڑی کے لیے قوم کی طرف سے ملنے والی عزت سب سے بڑا اعزاز ہے۔ ان کا کہنا ہے کہ میری خواہش ہے کہ قوم اسی طرح مجھے اپنی دعاؤں میں یاد رکھے، ان شاء اللّٰہ اپنے ملک کے لیے مزید نئی کامیابیاں سمیٹوں گا۔

Speaking on the occasion Saleem Haider Khan said: I welcome Arshad Nadeem to the Governor House, the whole nation is celebrating his success. Governor Punjab says Arshad Nadeem’s success is being appreciated in every part of the country, we expect him to break more records.
Arshad Nadeem said that I thank the Governor of Punjab and the entire nation, thank God that the entire country is honoring me. He said that the respect given by the nation is the greatest honor for any athlete. He says that I wish that the nation remembers me in their prayers in the same way, God willing, I will achieve more new achievements for my country.
