PTI appeals to Supreme Judicial Council against Chief Election Commissioner and members

پی ٹی آئی نے بطور جماعت چیف الیکشن کمشنر اور ممبران کے خلاف سپریم جوڈیشل کونسل سے رجوع کرلیا۔ تحریک انصاف کے سیکریٹری جنرل عمر ایوب نے بیرسٹر علی ظفر کے ذریعے شکایت دائر کردی۔ اپنی شکایت میں پی ٹی آئی کی جانب سے استدعا کی گئی کہ چیف الیکشن کمشنر اور ارکان کے خلاف مس کنڈکٹ پر انکوائری کی جائے۔ الزامات ثابت ہونے پر چیف الیکشن کمشنر و ارکان کی برطرفی کی سفارش کی جائے۔
پی ٹی آئی نے اپنی شکایت میں انتخابات سے پہلے اور بعد کے واقعات کا تذکرہ کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ الیکشن کمیشن صاف شفاف انتخابات کی آئینی ذمہ داری ادا کرنے میں ناکام رہا۔ انتخابات میں پی ٹی آئی کے پولنگ ایجنٹس کو پولنگ اسٹیشنز سے باہر نکالا گیا۔ شکایت میں کہا گیا کہ الیکشن کمیشن قانون کے مطابق نتائج جاری کرنے میں بھی ناکام رہا، الیکشن کمیشن نے پری پول دھاندلی پر آنکھیں بند کیے رکھیں۔
پی ٹی آئی نے اپنی شکایت میں کہا کہ پارٹی ارکان کی پریس کانفرنس میں وفاداریاں تبدیل کروائی گئیں۔ پی ٹی آئی امیدواروں سے کاغذات نامزدگی چھینے گئے، کارکنان کو اغواء کیا گیا۔ میڈیا اور پولنگ ایجنٹس کو فارم 45 بروقت نہیں دیا گیا۔ سپریم جوڈیشل کونسل کو شکایت میں کہا گیا کہ پی ٹی آئی کی کوریج پر پابندی عائد ہوئی، الیکشن کمیشن نے کوئی کارروائی نہیں کی۔
اس میں یہ بھی کہا گیا کہ پی ٹی آئی کو انتخابی مہم چلانے کی بھی اجازت نہیں دی گئی، ریٹرننگ افسران سیاسی بنیاد پر تعینات کیے گئے۔ الیکشن کمیشن نے نہ صرف پی ٹی آئی کو انتخابات سے باہر کیا بلکہ مخصوص نشستیں بھی چھین لیں۔ پی ٹی آئی نے اپنی شکایت میں کہا کہ الیکشن کمیشن تحریک انصاف کےخلاف عدالتوں میں باقاعدہ فریق بنا ہوا ہے۔

PTI as a party approached the Supreme Judicial Council against the Chief Election Commissioner and members. Tehreek-e-Insaf Secretary General Umar Ayub filed a complaint through Barrister Ali Zafar. In its complaint, the PTI requested that an inquiry be made against the Chief Election Commissioner and the members for misconduct. If the allegations are proved, the dismissal of the Chief Election Commissioner and members should be recommended.
In its complaint, PTI mentioned the events before and after the elections and said that the Election Commission failed to fulfill its constitutional responsibility of fair and transparent elections. In the elections, the polling agents of PTI were thrown out of the polling stations. The complaint said that the Election Commission also failed to release the results as per the law, the Election Commission turned a blind eye to pre-poll rigging.
In its complaint, PTI said that loyalties of party members were changed in the press conference. Nomination papers were taken from PTI candidates, workers were abducted. Form 45 was not given to media and polling agents on time. In the complaint to the Supreme Judicial Council, it was said that the coverage of PTI was banned, the Election Commission did not take any action.
It also said that PTI was not even allowed to campaign, returning officers were appointed on political grounds. The Election Commission not only excluded PTI from the elections but also took away certain seats. In its complaint, PTI said that Election Commission has become a regular party in courts against Tehreek-e-Insaaf.
