Big hike in electricity prices for K Electric customers

نیپرا کی جانب سے کے الیکٹرک صارفین کیلئے بجلی مہنگی کرنے کا نوٹیفکیشن جاری کر دیا گیا ہے۔ نیپرا کی جانب سے جاری کیے گئے نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق کراچی کیلئے بجلی10 روپے ایک پیسہ فی یونٹ مہنگی کی گئی ہے جبکہ بجلی ماہانہ فیول ایڈجسٹمنٹ کی مد میں مہنگی کی گئی ہے۔
نوٹیفکیشن میں کہا گیا ہے کہ جون میں2 روپے68 پیسے، جولائی میں3 روپے11 پیسے فی یونٹ اضافی وصول کئے جائیں گے، اسی طرح اگست میں3 روپے22 پیسے فی یونٹ جبکہ ستمبر میں ایک روپیہ فی یونٹ اضافی وصول کیا جائے گا۔ نیپرا کے نوٹیفکیشن میں مزید کہا گیا ہے کہ اضافے کا اطلاق کے الیکٹرک کے لائف لائن اور الیکٹرک وہیکل چارجنگ سٹیشنز پر نہیں ہو گا۔

Nepra has issued a notification to increase the price of electricity for K Electric customers. According to the notification issued by Nepra, electricity for Karachi has been increased by 10 rupees one paisa per unit, while the electricity has been increased due to monthly fuel adjustment.
The notification said that in June, Rs.268 paise, in July, Rs.311 paise per unit will be charged, similarly in August, Rs.322 paise per unit and in September, Rs.1 per unit will be charged. Nepra’s notification further states that the hike will not be applicable at K Electric’s Lifeline and Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.
