3 Major Generals including DG ISPR got promotion
راولپنڈی:پاک فوج میں 3 میجر جنرلز کو لیفٹیننٹ جنرلز کے عہدے پر ترقی دی گئی ہے۔پاک فوج میں اعلیٰ سطح پر ترقی و تعیناتیوں کے اہم مرحلے میں ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر میجر جنرل احمد شریف چوہدری، میجر جنرل عمر محمود بخاری اور میجر جنرل عنایت حسین کی لیفٹیننٹ جنرل کے عہدے پر ترقی دی گئی ہے۔آرمی چیف جنرل عاصم منیر نے ترقی پانے والے تینوں تھری اسٹار جنرلز کی تعیناتیاں بھی کر دیں۔لفٹیننٹ جنرل عمر بخاری کو کمانڈر 11 کور (پشاور)، لیفٹیننٹ جنرل عنایت کو چیف آف لاجسٹک سروسز (GHQ) اور لیفٹیننٹ جنرل احمد شریف فی الوقت بطور ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر اپنی ذمہ داریاں انجام دیتے رہیں گے۔84 لانگ کورس میں عمر محمود بخاری نے اعزازی شمشیر اور ہنزہ سے تعلق رکھنے والے عنایت حسین نے صدارتی گولڈ میڈل حاصل کیا تھا۔تھری اسٹار عہدے پر ترقی پانے والے یہ دونوں افسر جی ایچ کیو میں وائس چیف آف جنرل اسٹاف (جی ایچ کیو) میں خدمات انجام دے رہے تھے۔لیفٹیننٹ جنرل کے عہدے پر ترقی پانے والے احمد شریف چوہدری جو ڈی جی آئی ایس پی آر ہیں اور اب بھی اسی اہم پوزیشن پر تعینات رہیں گے۔تاہم آئی ایس پی آر نے اس بارے میں بیان جاری نہیں کیا ہے ۔
Rawalpindi: 3 Major Generals have been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant Generals in the Pakistan Army. In the important phase of promotion and appointments at the highest level in the Pakistan Army, DG ISPR Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, Major General Umar Mehmood Bukhari and Major General Inayat Hussain has been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant General. Army Chief General Asim Munir has also appointed three three-star generals who have been promoted. Chief of Logistics Services (GHQ) and Lt. Gen. Ahmed Sharif will continue to perform their duties as DG ISPR for the time being. 84 In the long course, Umar Mehmood Bukhari won the honorary sword and Inayat Hussain from Hunza won the presidential gold. The two officers who were promoted to three-star rank were serving as Vice Chief of General Staff (GHQ) at GHQ. Ahmad Sharif Chaudhry who was promoted to the rank of Lt. Gen. ISPR is and will continue to be posted in the same important position. However, ISPR has not issued a statement in this regard.
