قومی اسمبلی کے اجلاس کے دوران خطاب کرتے ہوئے شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ دنیا نے امن کا تاریخی سنگِ میل عبور کیا ہے، جنگ کی تاریک رات کے بعد امن کا سورج طلوع ہو گیا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ایران اور امریکا نے تمام محاذوں پر فوجی کارروائی کے فوری اور مستقل خاتمے کا اعلان کر دیا ہے، پاکستانی قوم سمیت پوری عالمی برادری کو اس کامیابی پر دل کی گہرائیوں سے مبارکباد دیتا ہوں۔ شہباز شریف کا کہنا ہے کہ اسپیکر صاحب آپ کو، اس ایوان کے ہر رکن کو مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں، پارٹی قیادت، اپنی پارٹی کے لیڈر نواز شریف کا بھی تہہ دل سے شکر گزار ہوں، نواز شریف کی رہنمائی مجھے ہر وقت میسر ہے۔
وزیرِ اعظم نے کہا کہ صدرِ مملکت آصف زرداری اور چیئرمین بلاول بھٹو زرداری اور تمام پارٹی کے سربراہوں کو مبارکباد دیتا ہوں، یہ صرف 2 ممالک کے درمیان معاہدہ نہیں، بلکہ امن اور مکالمے کی فتح ہے، یہ سفارت کاری کی کامیابی ہے اور جنگ کی تباہی کا خاتمہ ہے۔
ان کا کہنا ہے کہ اس معزز ایوان کے حوالے سے امریکا کے صدر ڈونلڈ ٹرمپ، ایران کے سپریم لیڈر مجتبیٰ خامنہ ای، ایرانی صدر اور امن عمل میں شریک دونوں ٹیمز کے تمام ممبران کو مبارکباد دیتا ہوں، فریقین نے مشکل حالات میں تدبر، دانش اور صبر کا ہاتھ نہ چھوڑا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ مذاکرات کے نازک، کٹھن اور صبر آزما عمل میں قطر کے امیر کے بھرپور تعاون کو خراجِ تحسین پیش کرتا ہوں، قطر کے امیر نے انتہائی مثبت کردار ادا کیا، سعودی ولی عہد محمد بن سلمان اور ترکیہ کے صدر کی دور اندیش قیادت اور بھرپور تعاون کا بھی شکر گزار ہوں۔

Speaking during the National Assembly session, Shahbaz Sharif said that the world has crossed a historic milestone of peace, the sun of peace has risen after the dark night of war.
He said that Iran and the United States have announced an immediate and permanent end to military action on all fronts, I congratulate the Pakistani nation and the entire international community on this success from the bottom of my heart. Shahbaz Sharif said that Speaker, I congratulate you, every member of this House, I am also deeply grateful to the party leadership, the leader of my party Nawaz Sharif, I am always available for Nawaz Sharif’s guidance.
The Prime Minister said that I congratulate President Asif Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and all party leaders, this is not just an agreement between two countries, but a victory of peace and dialogue, this is a success of diplomacy and an end to the devastation of war.
He said that in this esteemed chamber, I congratulate US President Donald Trump, Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, the Iranian President and all members of both teams participating in the peace process. The parties did not give up their wisdom, wisdom and patience in difficult circumstances. He said that I pay tribute to the full cooperation of the Emir of Qatar in the delicate, difficult and patient process of negotiations. The Emir of Qatar played a very positive role. I am also grateful for the far-sighted leadership and full cooperation of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and the President of Turkey.
