Heavy bombardment by America and Israel on Tehran, citizens suffering from panic, situation more serious due to internet shutdown

ایران کے دارالحکومت تہران میں امریکا اور اسرائیل کی جانب سے جاری جنگ کے دوران گزشتہ روز شدید فضائی حملے کیے گئے جنہیں حالیہ دنوں کی سب سے بڑی بمباری قرار دیا جا رہا ہے۔
رات بھر جنگی طیاروں نے نچلی پرواز کرتے ہوئے مختلف علاقوں پر درجنوں بھاری بم گرائے جس سے شہر کے کئی حصے لرز اٹھے اور شہریوں میں شدید خوف پھیل گیا۔
عرب میڈیا ’الجزیرہ‘ نے اپنی ایک رپورٹ میں دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ تہران پر دھماکے اتنے طاقتور تھے کہ عمارتیں اور کھڑکیاں ہل گئیں جبکہ لوگ گھروں کے اندر پناہ لینے پر مجبور ہو گئے، بعض علاقوں میں دھماکوں کی روشنی سے رات عارضی طور پر دن میں تبدیل ہوتی دکھائی دی۔دوسری جانب امریکی وزیرِ دفاع پیٹ ہیگسیتھ نے گزشتہ روز کہا تھا کہ منگل کا دن ایران پر حملوں کے لحاظ سے ’سب سے شدید‘ رہا ہے۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق تہران کے علاوہ اصفہان اور کرج شہروں سے بھی حملوں کی اطلاعات سامنے آئی ہیں۔
بجلی اور مواصلاتی نظام متاثر
عرب میڈیا کا کہنا ہے کہ حملوں کے دوران بجلی کے نظام کو نقصان پہنچنے سے تہران کے کئی علاقوں میں بجلی بند ہو گئی، تاہم ایرانی حکام کے مطابق چند گھنٹوں میں بجلی بحال کر دی گئی تھی۔
شہریوں نے نیلے رنگ کی روشنی کے بڑے شعلے دیکھنے کی بھی اطلاع دی جو بجلی گھروں کو نقصان کے نتیجے میں دکھائی دی۔ایرانی حکومت نے ملک بھر میں تقریباً مکمل انٹرنیٹ بندش برقرار رکھی ہوئی ہے جسے عالمی ادارہ نیٹ بلاکس نے دنیا کی شدید ترین سرکاری انٹرنیٹ پابندیوں میں سے ایک قرار دیا ہے۔
’الجزیرہ‘ کے مطابق تہران میں شہری معلومات کے فقدان کے باعث مسلسل فون کالز اور پیغامات کے ذریعے اپنے عزیزوں کی خیریت معلوم کرنے پر مجبور ہیں۔
سائبر حملوں کی اطلاعات
رپورٹ کے مطابق ایرانی حکام نے دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ جنگ کے دوران بڑے سائبر حملوں کو ناکام بنایا گیا جبکہ سرکاری اور نجی بینکس کی سروسز میں آنے والی مختصر رکاوٹ کو جَلد بحال کر دیا گیا۔
عرب میڈیا کی رپورٹ کے مطابق ایران میں صورتِ حال مجموعی طور پر کشیدہ ہے اور تہران کے شہری مسلسل خوف، اطلاعاتی پابندیوں اور معاشی دباؤ کے درمیان زندگی گزارنے پر مجبور ہیں۔

During the ongoing war between the US and Israel in Tehran, the capital of Iran, heavy air strikes were carried out yesterday, which are being described as the biggest bombardment in recent days.
Throughout the night, warplanes flew low and dropped dozens of heavy bombs on different areas, which shook many parts of the city and spread fear among the citizens.
The Arab media “Al Jazeera” claimed in one of its reports that the explosions on Tehran were so powerful that buildings and windows were shaken while people were forced to take shelter inside the houses. In some areas, the light of the explosions temporarily turned the night into day. On the other hand, the US Secretary of Defense Pat Hegseth said yesterday that Tuesday was the “most intense” day in terms of attacks on Iran.
According to the report, apart from Tehran, reports of attacks have also come from the cities of Isfahan and Karaj.
Power and communication systems affected
Arab media say that electricity was cut off in several areas of Tehran due to damage to the electricity system during the attacks, but according to Iranian officials, electricity was restored within a few hours.
Citizens also reported seeing large flashes of blue light, which appeared as a result of damage to power plants. The Iranian government has maintained a near-total internet blackout across the country, which the international organization NetBlocks has described as one of the world’s most severe government internet restrictions.
According to Al Jazeera, due to the lack of information, citizens in Tehran are forced to constantly check the welfare of their loved ones through phone calls and messages.
Cyber attack notifications
According to the report, Iranian officials have claimed that major cyber attacks during the war were thwarted, while brief disruptions to services of public and private banks were quickly restored.
According to Arab media reports, the overall situation in Iran is tense and the citizens of Tehran are forced to live amidst constant fear, information restrictions and economic pressure.
