Punjab government’s unique “Aghosh” program: Announcement of Rs. 23,000 to mothers of young children and pregnant women

وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز نے اپنی نوعیت کا پہلا اور منفرد”آغوش“پروگرام شروع کرنے کا اعلان کردیا جس کے تحت 2 سال سے کم عمر بچوں کی ماؤں اور حاملہ خواتین کو”آغوش“ پروگرام کے تحت 23 ہزار روپے ملیں گے۔
حکومت پنجاب کی جانب سے جاری بیان میں کہا گیا کہ پہلے مرحلے میں 13اضلاع”آغوش“ پروگرام کے تحت نومولود بچوں کی ماؤں اور حاملہ خواتین کوامداد ی رقم ملے گی، ”آغوش“ پروگرام کا آغاز ڈیرہ غازی خان، تونسہ، راجن پور، لیہ، مظفر گڑھ اور کوٹ ادو سے ہوگا۔
اس کے علاوہ بہاولپور، رحیم یارخان، بہاولنگر، بھکر، میانوالی، خوشاب اور لودھراں ”آغوش“ بھی پروگرام میں شامل ہیں۔
حاملہ خاتون کی پہلی دفعہ مراکز صحت/ مریم ہیلتھ کلینک میں رجسٹریشن پر2 ہزارروپے دیے جائیں گے، حاملہ خاتون کو بچے کی پیدائش تک متواتر طبی معائنے کے لئے وزٹ پر امدادی رقم دی جائے گی، مراکز صحت سے مفت طبی معائنے کے بعد ”آغوش“ پروگرام کے کیش ایجنٹ سے امدادی رقم حاصل کی جا سکے گی۔حاملہ خواتین کو ہر بار مراکز صحت وزٹ پر 1500 روپے ملیں گے، ٹوٹل رقم 6 ہزار روپے دی جائے گی، ”آغوش“پروگرام کے تحت مرکز صحت پر بچے کی پیدائش پر4ہزارروپے کاتحفہ ملے گا۔
پروگرام کے تحت پیدائش کے بعد 15دن کے اندر پہلے طبی معائنے پر2ہزار روپے ملیں گے، پیدائشی سرٹیفکیٹ کا مرکز صحت میں اندارج کروانے پر 5ہزار روپے دیئے جائیں گے۔
”آغوش“ پروگرام کے تحت نومولود بچے کو حفاظتی ٹیکے لگوانے پر 4ہزار روپے ہر بار 2ہزارروپے دیئے جائیں گے، وزیراعلیٰ مریم نوازشریف کی ہدایت پر خواتین کی رہنمائی اور معلومات کے لئے خصوصی ٹال فری نمبر بھی جاری کردیا گیا، مریم نواز نے کہا کہ صحت اور علاج ہر ماں اور بچے کا بنیادی حق ہے حکومت اپنا فرض ادا کرے گی، ہسپتالوں میں ماؤں اور بچوں کو بیماری کی حالت میں دیکھنا انتہائی تکلیف دہ ہے، سرکاری وسائل پرپسماندہ اور دوردراز علاقوں کے عوام کا پورا پورا حق ہے۔
ماں اور بچے کی صحت خصوصی توجہ کی متقاضی ہے، صحت مند ماں ہی صحت مندخاندان کی ضامن ہے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ پسماندہ علاقوں میں طبی سہولیات کے ساتھ خواتین کی مالی معاونت بھی کررہے ہیں، ”آغوش“ پروگرام سے نہ صرف ماں بلکہ بچہ بھی صحت مند زندگی کا آغاز کرے گا۔

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has announced the launch of the first and unique “Aghosh” program of its kind, under which mothers of children under 2 years of age and pregnant women will receive Rs 23,000 under the “Aghosh” program.
A statement issued by the Punjab government said that in the first phase, mothers of newborn children and pregnant women in 13 districts will receive assistance under the “Aghosh” program. The “Aghosh” program will start from Dera Ghazi Khan, Taunsa, Rajanpur, Layyah, Muzaffargarh and Kot Addo.
In addition, Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan, Bahawalnagar, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Khushab and Lodhran “Aghosh” are also included in the program.
A pregnant woman will be given Rs 2,000 on her first registration at a health center/Mariam Health Clinic. A pregnant woman will be given a subsidy for regular medical check-ups until the birth of the child. After a free medical check-up at the health center, the subsidy can be obtained from the cash agent of the “Aghosh” program. Pregnant women will receive Rs 1,500 for each visit to the health center, a total amount of Rs 6,000 will be given. Under the “Aghosh” program, a gift of Rs 4,000 will be given on the birth of a child at the health center.
Under the program, Rs 2,000 will be given on the first medical check-up within 15 days after birth, Rs 5,000 will be given on registering the birth certificate at the health center.
Under the “Aghosh” program, a newborn child will be given Rs 4,000 for each vaccination, Rs 2,000 each time. On the instructions of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a special toll-free number was also issued for women’s guidance and information. Maryam Nawaz said that health and treatment are the basic rights of every mother and child, the government will fulfill its duty. It is very painful to see mothers and children in hospitals in a state of illness, it is the full right of the people of backward and remote areas who rely on government resources.
The health of the mother and child requires special attention, a healthy mother is the guarantor of a healthy family.
She said that along with medical facilities, financial assistance is also being provided to women in backward areas. With the “Aghosh” program, not only the mother but also the child will start a healthy life.
