سابق صدر عارف علوی نے کہا ہے کہ 9 مئی کے معاملے پر اگر ظلم ہی کرنا ہے تو مذاکرات کا کیا فائدہ ہے۔
کراچی میں سندھ ہائیکورٹ میں میڈیا سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ ملک کے معاملات ہمیں خود ٹھیک کرنے ہوں گے، ٹرمپ اپنے ملک سمیت دنیا بھر میں ڈیپ اسٹیٹ کی مداخلت نہیں چاہتے۔
عارف علوی نے کہا کہ پاکستان بہت اہم ملک ہے، تبدیلی ہم نے جمہوریت کے ذریعے لانی ہے، معیشت سمیت کسی شعبے میں بہتری نہیں آئی ہے، مشرق وسطیٰ سے سرمایہ کاری کے خواب دکھائے گئے وہ بھی پورے نہیں ہوئے۔
تحریک انصاف کے رہنما نے کہا کہ غریب غریب تر ہوگیا ہے، ڈھائی کروڑ سے زائد بچے اسکولوں سے باہر ہیں، رجیم چینج سے ملک کو 50 ارب روپے کا نقصان پہنچا ہے۔
سابق صدر ڈاکٹر عارف علوی نے کہا کہ جی ڈی پی گروتھ 6 سے کم ہو کر 3 فیصد سے بھی کم ہوچکی ہے، حکومت کے پاس اپنا ڈی سی لگانے تک کا اختیار نہیں ہے۔
