آئی ایس پی آر نے کہا کہ 9 مئی کو سیاسی طور پر محرک اور برین واشڈ شرپسندوں نے ایک بغاوت کی اور جان بوجھ کر ریاستی اداروں کے خلاف تشدد کا سہارا لیا، شرپسندعناصر نے جان بوجھ کر ریاست کی مقدس علامتوں اور قومی ورثے پر توڑ پھوڑ کی جس کا مقصد ملک میں خود ساختہ اور تنگ نظر انقلاب لانے کی ناکام کوشش تھی۔
ترجمان پاک فوج نے بتایا کہ 9 مئی کو پاکستان کی مسلح افواج نے انتہائی تحمل کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے تخریب کاروں اور ان کے سرغنوں کی گھناؤنی سازش کو ناکام بنا دیا، ان شر پسند عناصر کا بنیادی مقصد افراتفری پھیلا کر عوام اور مسلح افواج کے درمیان تصادم کو ہوا دے کر پاکستان کو غیرمستحکم کرنا تھا۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے مطابق اس سازش کے منصوبہ سازوں، سہولت کاروں نے مسلح افواج اور ریاست کے خلاف نفرت کی ایک مذموم مہم شروع کی، ان شرپسند عناصر نے بیانیہ کو توڑ مروڑ کر شرمناک طریقے سے خود کو بری الذمہ قرار دینے اور الزام ریاستی اداروں پر ڈالنے کی بھی کوشش کی۔
پاک فوج کے ترجمان نے بتایا کہ انہی وجوہات کی بنا پر 9 مئی سانحہ کے منصوبہ سازوں، سہولت کاروں سے کوئی سمجھوتا ہو سکتا ہے اور نہ ہی انہیں قانون کی دھجیاں اڑانے کی اجازت دی جائے گی، 9 مئی کے اصل مجرموں کو انصاف کے کٹہرے میں لانا اس بات کو یقینی بنانا ہے کہ مستقبل میں کوئی بھی ہمارے ہیروز کی یادوں اور ہمارے اتحاد کی علامتوں کو اسی طرح کے غلط طرز عمل کے ذریعے بے حرمتی کرنے کی جرات نہ کرے۔
آئی ایس پی آر کا کہنا تھا کہ آج کے دن پاکستان کی مسلح افواج اپنے وقار اور عزت کو ہر قیمت پر برقرار رکھنے کا عہد کرتی ہیں، ہمارے شہداء اور ان کے خاندان پاکستان کا فخر ہیں، پاکستان کی مسلح افواج کا پاکستانی عوام کے ساتھ بہت خاص رشتہ ہے۔
