Defense Day:Attendance of various delegations at the martyrs’ memorial in Lahore

لاہور کینٹ میں واقع شہدا قبرستان کے اندر غازیان ڈوگرئی کی یادگار پر سلامی کی سالانہ تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا ۔یہ یادگار 16 پنجاب رجمنٹ کے ان 106 شہدا کی نشانی ہے کہ جنہوں نے 1965 کی جنگ کے دوران اپنی جانیں نچھاور کر کے دھرتی ماں کی حرمت کا تحفظ کر دکھایا ۔تاجر اور صحافی برادری کی جانب سے بھی غازیان ڈوگرئی کی یادگار پر پھولوں کی چادریں چڑھائی گئیں۔شہدائے وطن کو خراج   عقیدت  پیش کرنے  کے  لیے  سینئر صحافیوں کی تنظیم  ‘پاکستان  جرنلسٹ فاؤنڈیشن’ ، وائس آف  پاکستان’ ، بزنس کمیونٹی  کی  تنظیم ففتھ پلر اور  اورسیز پاکستانیوں کے  وفد  نے  شہدا  کے  قبرستان میں حاضری دی ۔وائس آف پاکستان اور  صحافیوں کی تنظیم  پاکستان جرنلسٹ فاؤنڈیشن کے وفد کی  قیادت سینئر صحافی  اور  اینکر پرسن ذولفقار  راحت  نے کی ۔کاروباری طبقہ کی تنظیم ففتھ پلر اکنامک موومنٹ’ کی  قیادت  معروف بزنس  مین  عابد  بٹ  نے  کی۔اور سیز  کے  وفد  کی  قیادت  صدر  آسٹریلیا  پاکستان ایسوسی ایشن اقبال  چودھری  نے  کی وفود کے ارکان نے ملکی سالمیت اور سلامتی کے لیے افواج پاکستان کی لازوال قربانیوں اور بے مثال خدمات کو خراج تحسین پیش کیا ۔ان کا کہنا تھا کہ دنیا کی کوئی طاقت پاکستانی قوم اور افواج  کے لازوال رشتے اور سچے جذبے کو شکست نہیں دے سکتی،محفوظ پاکستان ہی مضبوط پاکستان کا ضامن ہے،  لہٰذا پوری قوم نے مل کر  دفاع وطن کو یقینی بنانا ہے۔
The annual salutation ceremony was held at the memorial of Ghazian Dograi inside the Martyrs’ Cemetery located in Lahore Cantt. This memorial is a symbol of the 106 martyrs of 16 Punjab Regiment who laid down their lives for Mother Earth during the war of 1965. The businessmen and journalist community also laid floral wreaths on Ghazian Dograi’s memorial. To pay tribute to the martyrs, senior journalists’ organization ‘Pakistan Journalist Foundation’, Voice of Pakistan, Business Community organization Fifth Pillar and a delegation of overseas Pakistanis attended the martyrs’ cemetery. The delegation of Voice of Pakistan and journalists’ organization Pakistan Journalist Foundation was led by senior journalist and anchor person Zulfiqar Rahat. The business community’s organization Fifth Pillar Economic Movement. ‘ was led by the well-known businessman Abid Butt and the SEZ delegation was led by the President of Australia Pakistan Association Iqbal Chaudhary. He said that no power in the world can defeat the eternal relationship and true spirit of the Pakistani nation and forces, a secure Pakistan is the guarantor of a strong Pakistan, so the entire nation should ensure the defense of the homeland.
