قومی اسمبلی میں اظہار خیال کرتے ہوئے بیرسٹر گوہر کا کہنا تھا کہ ہم اس ایوان میں مذاکرات کر کے اپنے اوپر ہونے والے ظلم کا حساب چاہتے ہیں، ہم اس ایوان سے مذاکرات کے ذریعے راستہ چاہتے ہیں، ہم نے مذاکرات کیلئے کمیٹی بنائی ہے اسے کمزوری نہ سمجھا جائے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اگر ہمیں مذاکرات سے راستہ نہ دیا گیا تو پھر سے سڑکوں پر آئیں گے، ہمیں بار بار سڑکوں پر آنے پر مجبور نہ کیا جائے، آئیں پارلیمانی کمیٹی کا اجلاس بلائیں، اب 9 مئی کی دھول بیٹھنی چاہئے۔
چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی کا کہنا تھا کہ ہمارے لوگوں کے ساتھ زیادتیاں ہوئیں، ان پر گولیاں چلائی گئیں، دنیا میں کہیں بھی پرامن مظاہرین پر گولیاں نہیں چلیں، حالیہ دنوں میں برازیل سمیت کتنے ہی ممالک میں لوگ ایوانوں میں داخل ہوگئے کیا وہاں گولی چلی؟
انہوں نے کہا کہ آپ کی پارلیمان کے سامنے گولی چلی، وزیر دفاع نے عجیب منطق دی کہ گولی علی امین گنڈاپور کے گارڈز نے چلائی، یہ عجیب بات ہے کہ حکومت یہ ماننے کو تیار نہیں کہ گولی بھی چلی۔
بیرسٹر گوہر کا کہنا تھا کہ ہمیں پشتون کارڈ استعمال کرنے کا طعنہ دیا جاتا ہے، ہمارے لوگ جو احتجاج پر آئے تھے غیر مسلح تھے، ہم پشتون کارڈ استعمال نہیں کر رہے، آپ وہ ویڈیوز سامنے لائیں جن میں پی ٹی آئی کے لوگوں نے کسی قسم کا اسلحہ استعمال کیا۔
انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ عمران خان کو مقبولیت کیلئے جلسے جلوس نکالنے کی ضرورت نہیں، 8 فروری کو ان کی مقبولیت ثابت ہوچکی ہے۔
