Major fraud on Pakistanis revealed by promising jobs in Cambodia

پاکستانی شہریوں کو پرکشش ملازمتوں کے جھانسے میں ایشیائی ملک کمبوڈیا بلوا کر بڑا فراڈ کیا جارہا ہے اور کئی سو پاکستانیوں کو کئی ماہ سے یرغمال اور پرتشدد کارروائیوں کا نشانہ بنایا جارہا ہے۔ڈائریکٹر ایف آئی اے کراچی نعمان صدیقی نے بتایا کہ سوشل میڈیا پر کمبوڈیا میں آئی ٹی سیکٹر، کال سینٹرز، انجینئرنگ اور دیگر پروفیشنل شعبوں کی پرکشش ملازمتوں کی تشہیر کی جاتی ہے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ خاص طور پر متحدہ عرب امارات اور سعودی عرب سمیت خلیجی ممالک میں بھارتی ایجنٹس پاکستانی نوجوانوں کو ورغلاتے ہیں، پاکستانی نوجوانوں کو ایک سے دو ہزار ڈالرز ماہانہ میں کمبوڈیا میں اچھی ملازمتوں کا لالچ دیا جاتا ہے۔
ایف آئی اے ذرائع کا بتانا ہے کہ لاہور اور کراچی میں بھی نوجوانوں کو ورغلا کر اس روٹ پر بھیجا جارہا ہے، خاتون سمیت 20 سے زائد افراد گزشتہ ہفتوں میں کمبوڈیا سے ایمرجنسی دستاویزات پر ڈی رپورٹ ہوئے۔
اینٹی ہیومن ٹریفکنگ سرکل کراچی کے ایس ایچ او سہیل محمود شیخ نے بتایا کہ خاتون سمیت 20 افراد سے پوچھ گچھ کے بعد اب تک 14 انکوائریز اور 2 مقدمات کا اندراج کیا جاچکا ہے۔
حکام کے مطابق پرکشش ملازمتوں کے لالچ میں کمبوڈیا پہنچنے والے نوجوانوں کے پاسپورٹ ضبط کر لیے جاتے ہیں اور انہیں کمبوڈیا کے نواحی علاقوں میں جبری مشقت، غیرقانونی کاموں خاص طور پر ڈبہ کال سینٹرز میں کام پر مجبور کیا جاتا ہے۔
ایف آئی اے کی جانب سے بتایا گیا ہے کہ کئی پاکستانی ان مشقت کی جگہوں سے فرار ہوئے اور سفارتخانے سے رابطہ کرکے ڈی پورٹ ہوئے،ان واقعات پر پاکستانی مشن کی شکایت پر دو ہفتے قبل مقامی انتظامیہ نے آپریشن کرکے 100 سے زائد پاکستانیوں کو ایسے سینٹرز سے بازیاب کرایا ہے تاہم دور دراز علاقوں میں ابھی بھی پاکستانیوں کی بڑی تعداد مبینہ طور پر یرغمال اور مشقت پر مجبور ہے۔
ذرائع نے بتایا کہ ایسے لوگوں کی بڑی تعداد پنجاب سے تعلق رکھتی ہے، اس تمام دھندے میں کراچی یا لاہور میں موجود بعض غیرملکی بھی ملوث ہیں جن سے تحقیقات کی جا رہی ہے۔

Director FIA Karachi Noman Siddiqui said that attractive jobs in the IT sector, call centers, engineering and other professional fields in Cambodia are being advertised on social media.
He said that Indian agents, especially in Gulf countries including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, lure Pakistani youth. Pakistani youth are lured with good jobs in Cambodia for one to two thousand dollars a month.
FIA sources say that youth are also being lured and sent on this route in Lahore and Karachi. More than 20 people, including a woman, were deported from Cambodia in the past few weeks on emergency documents.
SHO of Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Karachi, Sohail Mahmood Sheikh, said that 14 inquiries and 2 cases have been registered so far after questioning 20 people, including a woman.
According to officials, the passports of the youth who reach Cambodia in the lure of attractive jobs are confiscated and they are forced to work in forced labor, illegal work, especially in dabba call centers in the outskirts of Cambodia.
The FIA ​​​​has informed that many Pakistanis escaped from these labor places and contacted the embassy and were deported. On the complaint of the Pakistani mission about these incidents, the local administration conducted an operation two weeks ago and rescued more than 100 Pakistanis from such centers. However, a large number of Pakistanis are still allegedly held hostage and forced to work in remote areas.
Sources said that a large number of such people belong to Punjab. Some foreigners in Karachi or Lahore are also involved in this whole business, who are being investigated.
