Recommendation to eliminate one and a half lakh posts

وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کی زیر صدارت حکومتی ڈھانچے کا حجم اور اخراجات میں کمی سے متعلق خصوصی اجلاس ہوا، اجلاس میں وفاقی حکومت کی رائٹ سائزنگ کے حوالے سے وفاقی وزیر خزانہ کی سربراہی میں بنائی گئی کمیٹی نے تجاویز پیش کیں۔
کمیٹی نے ایک لاکھ پچاس ہزار کے قریب خالی آسامیاں ختم کرنے کی سفارش کر دی، کمیٹی کی جانب سے نان کور سروسز اور عام نوعیت کے کاموں مثلاً صفائی ، جینیٹورئل سروسز وغیرہ کو آؤٹ سورس کرنے کی سفارش کی گئی ہے جس کے نتیجے میں گریڈ ایک سے 16 تک کی متعدد آسامیاں بتدریج ختم کی جا سکیں گی۔
اجلاس میں ہنگامی بنیادوں پر بھرتیوں پر مکمل پابندی عائد کرنے کی بھی سفارش کی گئی ہے، کمیٹی نے سفارشات میں کہا ہے کہ وزارت خزانہ دیگر وفاقی وزارتوں کے کیش بیلنسز کی نگرانی کرے۔

A special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif regarding the size of the government structure and reduction in expenses.
The committee recommended elimination of about 150,000 vacancies, the committee recommended outsourcing of non-core services and general works like cleaning, genitourinary services etc. A number of posts ranging from to 16 will be phased out.
The meeting has also recommended a complete ban on recruitment on emergency basis, the committee has said in the recommendations that the finance ministry should monitor the cash balances of other federal ministries.
