وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ نفرت، تعصب اور تنگ نظری کو ہر محاذ پر شکست دینی ہے۔وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے نفرت انگیز تقاریر کے انسداد کے عالمی دن کے موقع پر پیغام جاری کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ نفرت، تعصب اور تنگ نظری کو ہر محاذ پر شکست دینا وقت کی اہم ترین ضرورت ہے، نفرت انگیز تقاریر کا زہر معاشروں میں تقسیم، انتشار اور تشدد کو جنم دیتا ہے جو ایک فرد نہیں بلکہ پوری انسانیت کے ضمیر پر حملہ ہے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ اسلاموفوبیا نفرت انگیز رویوں کی سب سے خطرناک شکل ہے جس کے نتیجے میں مسلمانوں کی شناخت، ان کی مساجد اور حتیٰ کہ گھروں کو بھی نشانہ بنایا جاتا ہے، نفرت کی روش عالمی امن کے لئے ایک مستقل خطرہ بن چکی ہے۔
اپنے پیغام میں انہوں نے عالمی برادری پر زور دیا کہ وہ آزادی اظہار کے نام پر نفرت پھیلانے والوں کا محاسبہ کرے اور ایسے عناصر کے خلاف موثر کارروائی عمل میں لائی جائے جو معاشروں کو تقسیم کرنے کے درپے ہیں۔
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے واضح الفاظ میں کہا ہے کہ کسی کو بھی نفرت کے بیج بونے کی اجازت نہیں دی جائے گی، وطن عزیز میں محبت، برداشت اور باہمی احترام کے کلچر کو فروغ دیا جائے گا تاکہ ایک پرامن، مضبوط اور ہم آہنگ معاشرہ تشکیل دیا جا سکے۔

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, while issuing a message on the occasion of the International Day against Hate Speech, has said that defeating hatred, prejudice and narrow-mindedness on all fronts is the most important need of the hour. The poison of hate speech creates division, chaos and violence in societies, which is an attack not on an individual but on the conscience of the entire humanity.
She said that Islamophobia is the most dangerous form of hateful attitudes, as a result of which the identity of Muslims, their mosques and even their homes are targeted. The attitude of hatred has become a constant threat to world peace.
In her message, she urged the international community to hold accountable those who spread hatred in the name of freedom of expression and take effective action against such elements who are trying to divide societies.
The Chief Minister of Punjab has clearly stated that no one will be allowed to sow the seeds of hatred, and a culture of love, tolerance and mutual respect will be promoted in the beloved homeland so that a peaceful, strong and harmonious society can be created.
