President and Prime Minister pay tribute to martyrs of the “Battle of Truth”

صدرِ مملکت اور وزیراعظم نے ’معرکہ حق‘ میں مادر وطن کیلئے اپنی جانیں نچھاور کرنے والے افواج پاکستان کے شہداء کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کیا ہے۔
اپنے بیان میں صدر آصف علی زرداری نے پاکستان پر بلااشتعال بھارتی حملوں کے نتیجے میں شہید ہونے والوں کو خراجِ عقیدت پیش کیا اور کہا کہ ملکی سلامتی کی خاطر جان کا نذرانہ پیش کرنے پر پوری قوم پاک فوج اور پاک فضائیہ کے بہادر سپوتوں کو سلام پیش کرتی ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمیں اپنے شہداء کی قربانیوں پر فخر ہے، پاکستانی قوم اور مسلح افواج بھارتی جارحیت کے خلاف سیسہ پلائی دیوار کی طرح کھڑے رہیں، ہماری بہادر افواج نے قوم اور ملکی سالمیت کا کامیابی سے دفاع کیا۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ آپریشن بنیان مرصوص سے ہماری بہادر افواج نے دشمن کا غرور خاک میں ملا دیا، بھارتی جارحیت نے پوری پاکستانی قوم کو مزید متحد اور مضبوط کر دیا، پاکستانی قوم اور اسکی بہادر افواج کسی بھی جارحیت کا جواب دینے کیلئے ہر وقت تیار ہیں، ملکی سلامتی و خودمختاری پر ہونے والے ہر حملے کا منہ توڑ جواب دیں گے۔
صدر مملکت نے بھارتی حملوں کے دوران بچوں اور خواتین سمیت قیمتی جانی نقصان پر گہرے دکھ اور رنج کا اظہار کیا، جاں بحق افراد کے لواحقین کے ساتھ اظہارتعزیت اور زخمیوں کیلئے جلد صحتیابی کی دعا کی۔
اپنے بیان میں وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے معرکہ حق کے شہداء کو خراج عقیدت جبکہ ملک کی خاطر اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کرنے والوں کے اہل خانہ کو خراج تحسین پیش کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ہم نے نہ صرف ملک کا بھرپور دفاع کیا بلکہ پاکستان کی سالمیت اور خودمختاری پر کوئی آنچ نہیں آنے دی۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ افواج پاکستان کے بہادر افسران و جوانوں نے وطن کی حفاظت کا اپنی قوم سے کیا ہوا عہد پورا کیا، مجھ سمیت پوری قوم کو اپنے شہداء اور ان کے اہل خانہ پر فخر ہے، اپنے بہادر سپوتوں کی قربانیوں کو قوم کبھی فراموش نہیں کرے گی۔
انہوں نے بھارتی جارحیت کے نتیجے میں 15 کم سن بچوں اور 7 خواتین سمیت 40 معصوم لوگوں کی شہادت پر گہرے دکھ اور رنج کا اظہارکرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ہم شہدائے وطن کو نہ بھولے ہیں نہ بھولیں گے اور انکے اہل خانہ کو تنہا نہیں چھوڑیں گے۔
شہباز شریف نے کہا کہ آپریشن بنیان المرصوص نے بھارت کو بھرپور جواب دیا اور دشمن کو واضح کر دیا کہ اسے خطے میں موجود دوسرے ممالک کی سالمیت اور خودمختاری کا احترام کرنا ہوگا، معرکہ حق میں افواج پاکستان نے بھارت کی عددی برتری کی خوش فہمی اور غرور کو خاک میں ملا دیا، ہم پر امن قوم ہیں، مگر کسی بھی جارحیت کا جواب دینا جانتے ہیں۔

The President and the Prime Minister have paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistani armed forces who laid down their lives for the motherland in the ‘Battle of Truth’.
In his statement, President Asif Ali Zardari paid tribute to those who were martyred as a result of the unprovoked Indian attacks on Pakistan and said that the entire nation salutes the brave sons of the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force for sacrificing their lives for the security of the country.
He said that we are proud of the sacrifices of our martyrs, the Pakistani nation and armed forces stood like a leaden wall against Indian aggression, our brave forces successfully defended the nation and the integrity of the country.
He said that with Operation Banyan Marsus, our brave forces crushed the pride of the enemy, the Indian aggression has further united and strengthened the entire Pakistani nation, the Pakistani nation and its brave forces are always ready to respond to any aggression, and will give a befitting reply to any attack on the country’s security and sovereignty.
The President expressed deep sorrow and grief over the loss of precious lives, including children and women, during the Indian attacks, expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
In his statement, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the martyrs of the fight for truth and paid tribute to the families of those who sacrificed their lives for the country, saying that we not only defended the country to the fullest but also did not compromise the integrity and sovereignty of Pakistan.
He said that the brave officers and soldiers of the Pakistani Armed Forces fulfilled the promise they made to their nation to protect the homeland. The entire nation, including me, is proud of our martyrs and their families. The nation will never forget the sacrifices of our brave sons.
He expressed deep sorrow and grief over the martyrdom of 40 innocent people, including 15 minors and 7 women, as a result of Indian aggression, and said that we have not forgotten and will not forget the martyrs of the homeland and will not leave their families alone.
Shahbaz Sharif said that Operation Banyan Al-Marsoos gave a befitting reply to India and made it clear to the enemy that it must respect the integrity and sovereignty of other countries in the region. In the battle for justice, Pakistan’s armed forces destroyed India’s complacency and arrogance of numerical superiority. We are a peaceful nation, but we know how to respond to any aggression.
