Iranian President’s visit, declaration of public holiday tomorrow in Lahore

لاہور:حکومت پنجاب کے اعلان کے مطابق لاہور میں کل مقامی عام تعطیل ہوگی۔منگل 23 اپریل 2024 کو مقامی تعطیل کا نوٹیفکیشن ایڈیشنل چیف سیکرٹری کے دستخطوں سے جاری کیا گیا۔ جس کی روشنی میں لاہور میں سکول، کالج، یونیورسٹیز سمیت تعلیمی ادارے بند رہیں گے۔تعطیل صرف ضلع لاہور اور اس کے ماتحت دفاتر میں ہوگی۔ قابل ذکر بات یہ ہے کہ اس کا اطلاق پنجاب سول سیکرٹریٹ، اس کے منسلک محکموں اور علاقائی دفاتر پر نہیں ہوتا ہے۔یہ اعلان ایرانی صدر کے کل متوقع دورہ لاہور سے قبل کیا گیا ہے۔

Lahore: According to the announcement of Punjab government, tomorrow will be a local public holiday in Lahore. The notification of local holiday on Tuesday 23 April 2024 was issued with the signatures of the Additional Chief Secretary. In the light of which educational institutions including schools, colleges, universities will remain closed in Lahore. The holiday will be only in Lahore district and its subordinate offices. Notably, this does not apply to the Punjab Civil Secretariat, its attached departments and regional offices. This announcement has been made ahead of the Iranian President’s expected visit to Lahore tomorrow.
