Message of the President on the occasion of World Braille Day

صدرمملکت آصف علی زرداری نےبریل رسم الخط کے عالمی دن کے موقع پر پیغام میں کہا بینائی سے محروم افراد کی علم تک رسائی کی اہمیت اجاگر کرنے کیلئے بریل رسم الخط کا دن منا رہے ہیں۔
صدر مملکت کا کہنا تھا کہ بریل رسم الخط کا عالمی دن منانے کا مقصد بینائی سے محروم افراد کے حقوق بارے آگاہی پیدا کرنا ہے ، نابینا افراد کی تعلیم اور دیگر سہولیات تک رسائی بہتر بنانے کے عزم کا اعادہ کرتے ہیں، خصوصی افراد کی سماجی اور معاشی خودمختاری کیلئے علم تک رسائی ناگزیر ہے ،بریل رسم الخط بصارت سے محروم افراد کے لیے تعلیم اور معلومات کا اہم ذریعہ ہے۔
نابینا افراد کو بریل رسم الخط میں اہم معلومات کی فراہمی یقینی بنانے کی ضرورت ہے ، بینائی سے محروم افراد کو بریل رسم الخط میں کتابوں تک رسائی دینے کیلئے اقدامات تیز کرنا ہوں گے، پاکستان نے نابینا افراد کی علم تک رسائی بڑھانے کیلئے مراکیش معاہدے کی توثیق کی ، نابینا افراد کو اعلیٰ معیار کے تعلیمی اور معلوماتی مواد کو بریل رسم الخط میں دستیاب کرنا ہوگا۔
صدر مملکت کا کہنا تھا کہ ایک ہمہ گیر ، انصاف اور مساوات پر مبنی معاشرے کی تشکیل کیلئے معاشرے کے تمام طبقات پر توجہ دینے کی ضرورت ہے ،خصوصی افراد کے حقوق کے تحفظ اور فلاح و بہبود کیلئے پرعزم ہیں،معذوری کے حامل افراد کے حقوق کے فروغ کے عزم کا اعادہ کرتے ہیں۔
