Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz strongly condemned the attack on police personnel by PTI workers

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے احتجاجی مظاہرین کی جانب سے پولیس اہلکاروں پر فائرنگ پر شدید غم وغصے کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ ایس پی، ڈی ایس پی ایس اور ایچ او سمیت 20 سے زائد پولیس اہلکاروں کا حملوں میں زخمی ہونا افسوسناک ہے ،مظاہرین کے پاس شارٹ مشین گن، آنسو گیس، چاقو، ماسک وغیرہ بھی دیکھے گئے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ مظاہرین کی جانب سے پنجاب پولیس پر حملوں میں ایسا اسلحہ استعمال ہوا جو صرف پولیس کے پاس ہوتا ہے،غازی بروتھا،میانوالی،ہزارہ موٹروے اور دیگر مقامات پر فائرنگ کی گئی، پنجاب پولیس کو پہلے بھی تصادم سے بچنے کےلئے غیر مسلح رکھا گیا تھا اور اب بھی غیر مسلح ہے۔
مریم نواز نے مزید کہا کہ پچھلے احتجاج میں بھی ایک کانسٹیبل شہیداور 25 سے زیادہ زخمی ہوئے تھے،ایک صوبے کی پولیس کا دوسرے صوبے پر سرکاری وسائل سے حملہ قومی یکجہتی کو پارہ پارہ کرنے کے مترادف ہے،یہ کونسا احتجاج ہے جہاں سرکاری وسائل استعمال کیے جارہے ہیں، احتجاج کی بجائے یہ تحریک مسلح دہشت گردی کی شکل ہے۔

Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz has expressed deep grief over the firing on the police personnel by the protestors and said that it is sad that more than 20 police personnel including SP, DSPS and HO were injured in the attacks. Short machine gun, tear gas, knife, mask etc. were also seen with him.
He said that in the attacks on the Punjab police by the protesters, weapons were used which are only available to the police, firing was done at Ghazi Brotha, Mianwali, Hazara Motorway and other places. was kept unarmed and is still unarmed.
Maryam Nawaz added that in the previous protest too, one constable was martyred and more than 25 were injured. The attack of one province’s police on another province with government resources is like destroying national unity. What is this protest where government resources are used? Instead of protest, this movement is a form of armed terrorism.
