آرمی چیف جنرل عاصم منیر نے کہا ہے کہ ٹیکنالوجی نے معلومات کے پھیلاؤ میں اہم کردار ادا کیا ہے لیکن ٹیکنالوجی سے گمراہ کن اور غلط معلومات کا پھیلاؤ ایک اہم چیلنج ہے۔
اسلام آباد میں مارگلہ ڈائیلاگ 2024 کی خصوصی تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے انہوں نے کہا کہ عالمی سطح پر معیشت، افواج، ٹیکنالوجی میں بے انتہا تبدیلیاں رونما ہو رہی ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پرتشدد غیر ریاستی عناصر، ریاستی سرپرستی میں دہشتگردی عالمی سطح پربڑا چیلنج ہے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ حالیہ برسوں میں دنیا کو کئی چیلنجز کا سامنا ہے، غلط اور گمراہ کن معلومات کا تیزی سے پھیلاؤ اہم چیلنج ہے، پاکستان خطے، عالمی امن کے لیے اپنا مثبت کردار ہمشہ ادا کرتا رہے گا، دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ میں ہمارا عزم غیر متزلزل ہے۔
آرمی چیف نے کہا کہ مغربی سرحدوں کو محفوظ بنانےکے لئے جامع بارڈر مینجمنٹ رجیم قائم کی گئی، ویژن عزمِ استحکام نیشنل ایکشن پلان کا ایک اہم جزو ہے، ویژن عزمِ استحکام کا مقصد دہشت گردی اور انتہا پسندی کا خاتمہ ہے۔
جنرل عاصم منیر کا کہنا تھا کہ فتنہ الخوارج دنیاکی تمام دہشت گرد تنظیموں اور پراکسیز کی آماجگاہ بن چکی، افغانستان سے توقع ہے کہ وہ دہشت گردی کے خلاف اپنی سرزمین استعمال نہیں ہونے دے گا۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ہمارے مشترکہ مقاصد میں موسمیاتی تبدیلی سے نمٹنا، دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ اور عالمی صحت کی فراہمی جیسے اہم چیلنجز شامل ہیں۔ پاکستان دنیا اور خطے میں امن اور استحکام کے لیے اپنا اہم کردار ادا کر رہا ہے۔ دہشتگردی عالمی سطح پر تمام انسانیت کے لیے ایک مشترکہ چیلنج ہے ۔ دہشت گردی کے خلاف جنگ میں ہمارا عزم غیر متزلزل ہے ۔
آرمی چیف کا کہنا تھا کہ عزمِ استحکام نیشنل ایکشن پلان کا ایک اہم جزو ہے، جس کا مقصد دہشتگردی اور انتہا پسندی کا خاتمہ ہے، بھارت کے انتہا پسندانہ نظریے کی وجہ سے بیرون ملک خاص طور پر امریکا ، برطانیہ اور کینیڈا میں بھی اقلیتیں محفوظ نہیں، مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر میں بھارت کا ظلم و بربریت بھی ہندوتوا نظریے اور پالیسی کا تسلسل ہے ۔
جنرل عاصم منیر نے کہا کہ مقبوضہ جموں و کشمیر کا اقوام ِ متحدہ کی قراردادوں اور کشمیری عوام کی اُمنگوں کے مطابق حل ناگزیر ہے، پاکستان نے ہمیشہ غزہ اور لبنان میں جنگ بندی کا مطالبہ کیا ہے، پاکستان نے غزہ اور لبنان کو انسانی ہمدردی کی بنیادوں پر متعدد بار امداد روانہ کی ہے، پاکستان نے ہمیشہ ایک آزاد فلسطینی ریاست کے قیام پر زور دیا ہے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ہم کسی عالمی تنازع کا حصہ نہیں بنیں گے مگر دُنیا میں امن و استحکام کے لیے اپنا کردار ادا کرتے رہیں گے، عالمی امن کی خاطر 235،000پاکستانی اقوام متحدہ کے امن مشن میں اپنا کردار ادا کرچکے ہیں، اقوام متحدہ امن مشنز میں 181 پاکستانیوں نے عالمی امن کی خاطر اپنی جانوں کا نذرانہ پیش کیا ہے۔
آرمی چیف نےکہا کہ پاکستان 24کروڑ عوام کا ملک ہے جس کی لگ بھگ 63فیصد آبادی 30سال سے کم ہے ، پاکستان بے پناہ قدرتی وسائل سے مالا مال ہے، پاکستان دنیا میں زراعت کی پیداوار کے حوالے سے ایک بڑا ملک بن کر ابھرا ہے، پاکستان میں نادر معدنیات کے بڑے ذخائر موجود ہیں، پاکستان فری لانسنگ کی مد میں عالمی سطح پر ایک اہم ملک ہے ۔
جنرل عاصم منیر کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ پاکستان ان تمام ذخائر ،منفرد جغرافیائی مقام اور سمندری بندرگاہ کی وجہ سے یورپ ، سینٹرل ایشیا اور مڈل ایسٹ میں تجارت کے لیے انتہائی اہمیت کا حامل ہے۔

Army Chief General Asim Munir has said that technology has played an important role in the dissemination of information, but the spread of misleading and false information through technology is a major challenge.
While addressing the special event of Margalla Dialogue 2024 in Islamabad, he said that immense changes are taking place in economy, forces and technology at the global level.
He said that violent non-state elements, state-sponsored terrorism is a major challenge at the global level.
He said that the world is facing many challenges in recent years, rapid spread of false and misleading information is the main challenge, Pakistan will always play its positive role for the region, world peace, war against terrorism. Our commitment is unwavering.
The Army Chief said that a comprehensive border management regime has been established to secure the western borders, vision commitment to stability is an important component of the National Action Plan, vision commitment to stability is the end of terrorism and extremism.
General Asim Munir said that Fitna-ul-Khawarij has become the home of all the terrorist organizations and proxies of the world, Afghanistan is expected not to allow its territory to be used against terrorism.
He said that our common goals include major challenges such as tackling climate change, the fight against terrorism and the provision of global health. Pakistan is playing its important role for peace and stability in the world and the region. Terrorism is a common challenge for all humanity at the global level. Our determination in the war against terrorism is unwavering.
The Army Chief said that commitment to stability is an important component of the National Action Plan, which aims to end terrorism and extremism. Because of India’s extremist ideology, minorities are protected abroad, especially in the United States, Great Britain and Canada. No, India’s cruelty and brutality in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is also a continuation of Hindutva ideology and policy.
General Asim Munir said that the solution of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir is inevitable according to the resolutions of the United Nations and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. Pakistan has always demanded a ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon. Having sent aid to the base several times, Pakistan has always insisted on the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
He said that we will not be a part of any global conflict but will continue to play our role for peace and stability in the world. For the sake of world peace, 235,000 Pakistanis have played their role in the United Nations Peace Mission 181 Pakistanis have sacrificed their lives for world peace in peace missions.
The Army Chief said that Pakistan is a country of 24 crore people, of which 63% of the population is under 30 years of age, Pakistan is rich in natural resources, Pakistan has emerged as a major country in terms of agricultural production in the world. There are large reserves of rare minerals, Pakistan is an important country in the world in terms of freelancing.
General Asim Munir further said that Pakistan is very important for trade in Europe, Central Asia and Middle East due to all these reserves, unique geographical location and sea port.
