Tax on traders will not be withdrawn, every sector of society will have to pay tax: Federal Finance Minister

وفاقی وزیر خزانہ محمد اورنگزیب نے کہا ہے کہ تاجروں پر ٹیکس واپس نہیں لیں گے، سوسائٹی کے ہر شعبے کو ٹیکس ادا کرنا ہو گا۔وزیر خزانہ محمد اورنگزیب نے کہا ہے کہ آئی ایم ایف کو ٹارگٹڈ سبسڈی پر اعتراض نہیں، بی آئی ایس پی کے ذریعے مستحق طبقے کو سبسڈی دی جا سکتی ہے، رواں ہفتے وزرائے اعلیٰ سے بات چیت ہو گی، ملک بھر میں یکساں پالیسی نافذ ہو گی۔
انہوں نے کہا ہے کہ وفاقی سیکرٹری خزانہ بھی صوبائی سیکرٹری سے بات چیت کریں گے، اسی مہینے صوبوں سے مل کر قومی مالیاتی معاہدہ تیار کیا جائے گا، بیرونی فنانسگ پورا کرنے کیلئے ایڈوانس سطح پر بات چیت جاری ہے۔
محمد اورنگزیب نے مزید کہا ہے کہ قرض رول اوور کے لئے بات چیت حتمی مرحلے میں ہے اور مثبت انداز میں چل رہی ہے، دوست ممالک کے متعلقہ ادارے جلد اپنی حکومتوں کو اس بارے میں آگاہ کریں گے، ایف بی آر کا ٹیکس وصولیوں کا ہدف ڈیجیٹلائزیشن اور انفورسمنٹ سے پورا کریں گے۔
وزیر خزانہ کا کہنا تھا کہ اس وقت ودہولڈنگ ٹیکس میں اضافے کی کوئی تجویز زیر غور نہیں، تاجروں پرعائد ٹیکس واپس لینے کا مطلب ہے کہ ٹیکس تنخواہ دار، مینو فیکچرنگ سیکٹر سے لیا جائے، تاجروں کو ہر سہولت دیں گے، ان کے جائز مطالبات مانیں گے لیکن سوسائٹی کے ہر شعبے کو ٹیکس ادا کرنا ہو گا، اس کے بغیر ملک ترقی نہیں کر سکتا۔

He has said that the federal finance secretary will also discuss with the provincial secretary, a national financial agreement will be prepared together with the provinces in the same month, and advanced level discussions are underway to complete the external financing.
Mohammad Aurangzeb has further said that the talks for loan rollover are in the final stage and are progressing positively, concerned institutions of friendly countries will soon inform their governments about this, FBR’s tax collection target. It will be accomplished through digitalization and enforcement.
The finance minister said that at present no proposal to increase the withholding tax is under consideration, withdrawing the income tax on traders means that the tax should be collected from the salaried, manufacturing sector, the traders will be given every facility, their legitimate demands. Believe it but every sector of the society has to pay taxes, without it the country cannot develop.
