پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ کے چیئرمین محسن نقوی نے کہا ہے کہ ہمارا کوئی بھی اسٹیڈیم عالمی معیار پر پورا نہیں اترتا۔ چیئرمین پی سی بی محسن نقوی قذافی اسٹیڈیم پہنچ گئے، انہوں نے مین بلڈنگ کے تعمیراتی منصوبے کا جائزہ لیا اور اپ گریڈیشن پلان پر بریفنگ دی۔ محسن نقوی نے کہا کہ اپنے کھیلوں کے میدانوں کو دنیا کے بہترین اسٹیڈیمز بنائیں گے، اسٹیڈیمز میں بنیادی سہولتوں کی فراہمی اولین ترجیح ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ پچھلے 10 دنوں سے مسلسل کام جاری ہے، چیمپئنز ٹرافی سے پہلے اسٹیڈیمز کا کام مکمل کرلیا جائے گا، کام جتنی تیزی سے ہوسکتا ہے ہو رہا ہے۔ ان کا کہنا ہے کہ ایف ڈبلیو او کی ٹیم دن رات کام کر رہی ہے، یہ ایک چیلنج ہے، چیمپئنز ٹرافی سے پہلے کام مکمل کرنے کے لیے پُراُمید ہیں، ہم سیکیورٹی اداروں کے ساتھ باقاعدہ رابطے میں ہیں۔ چیئرمین پی سی بی نے کہا کہ چیمپئنز ٹرافی کے میچز راولپنڈی، لاہور اور کراچی میں ہوں گے، 5 ماہ کے اندر اپنا ٹارگٹ پورا کرنے کی مکمل کوشش کریں گے، موسمیاتی چینلجز کے باوجود تعمیراتی کام تیزی سے جاری ہے۔

Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi reached the Gaddafi Stadium, reviewed the construction plan of the main building and gave a briefing on the upgradation plan. Mohsin Naqvi said that he will make his sports fields the best stadiums in the world, providing basic facilities in the stadiums is the first priority.
He said that the work is going on continuously for the last 10 days, the work of the stadiums will be completed before the Champions Trophy, the work is being done as fast as possible. He says that the FWO team is working day and night, it is a challenge, we are hoping to complete the work before the Champions Trophy, we are in regular touch with the security agencies. Chairman PCB said that Champions Trophy matches will be held in Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi, will try hard to achieve their target within 5 months, construction work is going on fast despite the weather challenges.
