The President signed the Election Act Amendment Bill 2024

صدر مملکت آصف علی زرداری نے الیکشن ایکٹ ترمیمی بل2024ء پر دستخط کر دیے۔ گزٹ نوٹیفکیشن کے لیے بل سینیٹ سیکریٹریٹ بجھوا دیا گیا۔ الیکشن کمیشن ایکٹ کا گزٹ نوٹیفکیشن آج ہی جاری کیا جائے گا۔
دو روز قبل قومی اسمبلی سے منظوری کے بعد سینیٹ نے بھی الیکشن ایکٹ ترمیمی بل 2024ء منظور کر لیا تھا۔ مسلم لیگ ن کے رہنما طلال چوہدری نے الیکشن ایکٹ ترمیمی بل سینیٹ میں پیش کیا تھا۔ قومی اسمبلی کی طرح سینیٹ میں بھی بل کی منظوری کے موقع پر اپوزیشن نے احتجاج کیا تھا۔

Two days ago, after the approval of the National Assembly, the Senate also approved the Election Act Amendment Bill 2024. Muslim League-N leader Talal Chaudhry presented the Election Act Amendment Bill in the Senate. Like the National Assembly, the opposition protested on the occasion of the approval of the bill in the Senate as well.
