وفاقی حکومت نے مہنگائی کی چکی میں پسے عوام کو ایک اور جھٹکا دینے کی تیاری کر لی۔ بجلی کی قیمتوں میں 3 روپے 41 پیسے فی یونٹ مزید اضافے کا امکان ہے، سینٹرل پاور پرچیزنگ ایجنسی نے بجلی کی قیمتوں میں اضافے کی درخواست نیپرا میں جمع کرا دی۔
قیمتوں میں اضافے کی درخواست ماہانہ فیول پرائس ایڈجسٹمنٹ کی مد میں کی گئی ہے، نیپرا بجلی کی قیمتوں میں اضافے سے متعلق درخواست پر سماعت 28 جون کو کرے گا۔ سی پی پی اے کی جانب سے نیپرا میں دائر درخواست میں کہا گیا ہے کہ گزشتہ ماہ 12 ارب 26 کروڑ یونٹ بجلی پیدا ہوئی، بجلی کی پیداواری لاگت 111 ارب روپے رہی۔ فرنس آئل پر 31 روپے 44 فی یونٹ بجلی پیدا کی گئی، ایل این جی سے بجلی کی پیداواری لاگت 24 روپے ایک پیسہ فی یونٹ رہی، ایران سے 26 روپے 9 پیسے میں فی یونٹ بجلی درآمد کی گئی۔
