A tax-free budget of 5446 billion rupees of Punjab has been presented for the financial year 2024-25

سپیکر ملک احمد خان کی زیرصدارت پنجاب اسمبلی کا اجلاس ہوا، اس موقع پر وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف بھی اسمبلی میں موجود رہیں۔
وزیر خزانہ پنجاب مجتبیٰ شجاع الرحمان نے بجٹ تقریر میں دعویٰ کیا ہے کہ پہلا باضابطہ ٹیکس فری بجٹ پیش کیا گیا ہے، جبکہ حکومتی اخراجات میں خاطر خواہ کمی بھی لا رہے ہیں۔وزیر خزانہ پنجاب نے کہا کہ تنخواہ دارطبقہ مہنگائی سے بری طرح متاثر ہوتا ہے، گریڈ ایک سے 16 تک ملازمین کی تنخواہ میں 25 فیصد اور پنشن میں 15 فیصد اضافے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے، کم سے کم اجرت کو 32 ہزار سے بڑھا کر 37 ہزار کرنے کی تجویز ہے۔
وزیر خزانہ نے کہا کہ پنجاب کی ترقی کا آغاز ہو چکا ہے، مریم نواز نے 100 دن کے مختصر عرصہ میں انقلابی اقدامات کیے، مریم نواز نے صوبے میں مہنگائی کو ریکارڈ حد تک کم کیا، مہنگائی کی شرح 11.8 فیصد پر لے آئے ہیں۔
وزیرخزانہ پنجاب نے کہا کہ ملک میں کاروبار دوست ماحول پیدا ہوا ہے، ڈیجیٹل پنجاب کا خواب تیزی سے شرمندہ تعبیر ہو رہا ہے، پنجاب میں کئی مقامات پر مفت وائی فائی کی سہولت فراہم کی گئی ہے۔
پاکستان کے پہلے نوازشریف آئی ٹی سٹی کی بنیاد لاہورمیں رکھ دی گئی ہے، جرائم کی روک تھام کے لیے سمارٹ سیف سٹی پروگرام کے لیے 3 ارب 80 کروڑ روپے مختص کیے گئے ہیں۔
