لاہور: چیئرمین پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ محسن نقوی نے ٹی ٹوئنٹی ورلڈکپ کے لیے قومی ٹیم کا اعلان روک دیا۔اگلے ماہ امریکا اور ویسٹ انڈیز میں شروع ہونے والے ٹی ٹوئنٹی ورلڈکپ کے لیے قومی ٹیم کا اعلان آج متوقع تھا۔پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ کی جانب سے بابر اعظم کی قیادت میں 15 رکنی قومی اسکواڈ کا اعلان آج کیا جانا تھا تاہم اب اطلاعات ہیں کہ چیئرمین پی سی بی محسن نقوی نے قومی ٹیم کا اعلان روک دیا ہے۔ذرائع کے مطابق محسن نقوی نے قومی ٹیم کی سلیکشن کے عمل پر ناراضی کا اظہار کیا ہے۔ذرائع کا کہنا ہے کہ چیئرمین پی سی بی محسن نقوی نے کھلاڑیوں کے ناموں پر اعتراض نہیں اٹھایا بلکہ باقاعدہ میٹنگز نہ ہونے پر چیئرمین ناراضی کا اظہار کیا ہے اور اس معاملے پر محسن نقوی نے خط کے ذریعے سلیکشن کمیٹی سے جواب طلبی کر لی ہے۔ذرائع کا بتانا ہے کہ ٹیم کے انتخاب کیلئےکسی اجلاس کی کارروائی کے منٹس محسن نقوی تک نہ پہنچائے گئے جس پر انہوں نے ناراضی کا اظہار کرتے ہوئے اس معاملے کا نوٹس لیا۔ذرائع کے مطابق جب تک سلیکشن کے عمل کا تمام پراسیس مکمل نہیں کیا جاتا اس وقت تک ٹی ٹوئنٹی ورلڈکپ کے لیے قومی ٹیم کا اعلان نہیں ہو گا۔
