If we want to get rid of debt, we have to generate revenue: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif

وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ قرضوں سے جان چھڑانی ہے تو ریونیو جنریٹ کرنا ہو گا۔
ایف بی آر ہیڈ کوارٹر کے دورے میں خطاب کرتے ہوئے وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ ایف بی آر کی ڈیجیٹائزیشن کے سفر کا آغاز ہو چکا ہے، ہم نے فیصلہ کیا تھا کہ ایف بی آر کے سارے آپریشنز کو ڈیجیٹل کرنا ہے، ایف بی آر کی ڈیجیٹائزیشن کے لیے پوری ٹیم نے مل کر کاوشیں کی ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ایف بی آر کی ڈیجیٹائزیشن کا سفر طویل ہے، پاکستان کے روشن اور خوش حال مستقبل کے لیے شبانہ روز محنت ضروری ہے، ٹیکس محصولات میں گزشتہ سال کے مقابلے میں 27 فیصد اضافہ قابلِ ستائش ہے۔وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کا کہنا ہے کہ قرضوں سے نجات کے لیے اہداف پر تیزی سے پیش رفت یقینی بنانی ہے، کھربوں روپے کے ٹیکسز سے متعلق کیسز عدالتوں میں چل رہے ہیں، مختلف عدالتوں میں زیرِ التواء کھربوں کے ٹیکس کیسز کے فوری فیصلے ناگزیر ہیں، کارکردگی سے متعلق مختلف اداروں میں موجود سقم دور کرنے ہوں گے، ماضی سے سبق سیکھتے ہوئے آگے بڑھنا اور ذمے داری سے کام کرنا ہے۔
وزیرِ اعظم نے کہا کہ ایف بی آر میں ماضی میں ٹریک اینڈ ٹریس نظام کا مؤثر استعمال نہیں کیا گیا، اداروں کے اہلکار محنت اور جذبے سے ملک کی خدمت کریں، قرضوں کی وجہ سے معیشت پر بوجھ بڑا، ہمیں اس چنگل سے باہر نکلنا ہو گا، کسٹم سمیت مختلف اداروں میں جدید ٹیکنالوجی کو متعارف کرایا جا رہا ہے، آج ہم اس مقام پر پہنچے ہیں جہاں سے تیزی کی جانب بڑھنا ہے۔
شہباز شریف کا یہ بھی کہنا ہے کہ ترقی و خوش حالی وہ منزل ہے جس کے لیے ملک وجود میں آیا، سرمایہ کار ہمارے سر کا تاج ہیں، انہیں ہر ممکن سہولتیں دیں گے، اپنی صلاحیتوں پر انحصار کرتے ہوئے ہمیں قرضوں سے نجات حاصل کرنا ہو گی، حکومت کی ترجیح ہے کہ اچھے کام کی ستائش اور غیر ذمے دارانہ برتاؤ کا حساب لیا جائے۔

Speaking during a visit to the FBR headquarters, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the journey of digitization of the FBR has begun. We had decided that all operations of the FBR have to be digitalized. The entire team has made joint efforts for the digitization of the FBR.
He said that the journey of digitization of the FBR is long, hard work is necessary for Pakistan’s bright and prosperous future, the 27 percent increase in tax revenues compared to last year is commendable. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif says that rapid progress on the targets has to be ensured to get rid of debts, cases related to taxes worth trillions of rupees are going on in the courts, immediate decisions on tax cases worth trillions pending in various courts are inevitable, the shortcomings in various institutions related to performance will have to be removed, learning lessons from the past and working responsibly.
The Prime Minister said that the track and trace system was not used effectively in the FBR in the past, the officials of the institutions should serve the country with hard work and passion, the burden on the economy is heavy due to debts, we have to get out of this clutch, modern technology is being introduced in various institutions including customs, today we have reached a point from where we have to move towards acceleration.
Shahbaz Sharif also says that progress and prosperity are the goals for which the country came into existence, investors are the crown of our heads, we will provide them with all possible facilities, we will have to get rid of debts by relying on our own capabilities, the government’s priority is to praise good work and hold irresponsible behavior to account.
