وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ ایک سال میں پاکستان کے حالات بدل گئے، ملک کے کسی کونے سے ڈیفالٹ کی آواز نہیں آ رہی۔
ماحولیاتی تحفظ فورس پنجاب کی پاسنگ آؤٹ پریڈ تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف کا کہنا تھا کہ پاکستان میں مہنگائی کم اور ترسیلات زر میں ریکارڈ اضافہ ہوا ہے، چار سال بھی ایک جماعت کی حکومت رہی، اپنے خزانے بھرتے رہے، ہم نے دروازوں پر دستک دے کر 10 ہزار روپے کے چیک دیئے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ ماضی میں کسی کو پرواہ نہیں تھی، جو حالت محکمہ ماحولیات کی تھی وہی پنجاب کی حالت تھی، ماحولیاتی تحفظ فورس ماحولیاتی خطرات سے نمٹنے میں ایک سنگ میل ثابت ہوگی اور پنجاب کو صاف، سرسبز اور محفوظ بنانے کے حکومتی عزم کی عملی تعبیر ہے
مریم نواز کا کہنا تھا کہ ماحولیاتی تحفظ کو یقینی بنانا عوام کی بہت بڑی خدمت ہے، سموگ کی وجہ سے تعلیمی ادارے بند کرنا پڑے۔
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے مزید کہا کہ سرکاری ہسپتالوں میں علاج معالجے پر کوئی سمجھوتا نہیں ہوگا، ہر مریض کو مفت ادویات ملے گی، مہنگی ادویات بیچنے والوں کیخلاف ایکشن ہوگا۔
قبل ازیں لاہور میں ماحولیاتی تحفظ فورس پنجاب کی پاسنگ آؤٹ پریڈ تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا، جس میں وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف نے خصوصی شرکت کی، سینئر صوبائی وزیر مریم اورنگزیب اور صوبائی وزیر اطلاعات عظمیٰ بخاری بھی موجود تھیں۔
تقریب کے دوران وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز نے ماحولیاتی تحفظ فورس کی بنیاد رکھی، اس موقع پر پرچم کشائی کی گئی اور قومی ترانہ بھی بجایا گیا۔
ماحولیاتی تحفظ فورس کے ویجیلینس سکواڈ کی جانب سے وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز کو سلامی پیش کی گئی۔
پنجاب حکومت پہلے دن سے ہی ماحول کے تحفظ کیلئے اقدامات اٹھا رہی ہے: مریم اورنگزیب
تقریب سے خطاب کرتے ہوئے سینئر صوبائی وزیر مریم اورنگزیب کا کہنا تھا کہ ماحولیاتی تحفظ فورس کا قیام وقت کی ضرورت تھی، فورس ماحولیاتی تحفظ کیلئے وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز کے عزم کی عکاسی ہے، پنجاب حکومت پہلے دن سے ہی ماحول کے تحفظ کیلئے اقدامات اٹھا رہی ہے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ کسی گورنمنٹ اور ادوار میں تحفظ ماحولیات پر کسی نے کام نہیں کیا، سیکرٹری ماحولیات، ڈی جی ای پی اے کو شاباش دینا چاہتی ہوں، اس محکمے میں وسائل دینا بھی بہت بڑی بات ہوتی ہے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ماحولیاتی تحفظ کیلئے وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز کے وژن کو ایک سال میں عملی جامہ پہنایا گیا، پنجاب کی تاریخ میں پہلی بار ماحولیاتی تحفظ کیلئے خطیر رقم مختص کی گئی، ماحولیاتی تحفظ فورس جدید آلات سے لیس ہے۔

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has said that the situation in Pakistan has changed in a year, there is no sound of default from any corner of the country.
Addressing the passing out parade ceremony of the Punjab Environmental Protection Force, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that inflation has decreased in Pakistan and remittances have increased at a record rate. Even after four years of one-party rule, we kept filling our coffers. We knocked on doors and gave checks of Rs 10,000.
She said that in the past, no one cared, the condition of the Environment Department was the same as the condition of Punjab. The Environmental Protection Force will prove to be a milestone in dealing with environmental threats and is a practical expression of the government’s determination to make Punjab clean, green and safe.
Maryam Nawaz said that ensuring environmental protection is a great service to the people, educational institutions had to be closed due to smog.
The Punjab Chief Minister further said that there will be no compromise on treatment in government hospitals, every patient will get free medicines, action will be taken against those selling expensive medicines.
Earlier, the passing out parade ceremony of the Environmental Protection Force Punjab was held in Lahore, in which Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif specially participated, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb and Provincial Information Minister Uzma Bukhari were also present.
During the ceremony, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz laid the foundation stone of the Environmental Protection Force, the flag was hoisted on the occasion and the national anthem was also played.
The Vigilance Squad of the Environmental Protection Force presented a salute to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz.

Addressing the ceremony, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb said that the establishment of the Environmental Protection Force was the need of the hour, the force is a reflection of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s commitment to environmental protection, the Punjab government has been taking steps to protect the environment from the first day.
She said that no one has worked on environmental protection in any government and period, I want to congratulate the Secretary Environment, DG EPA, providing resources to this department is also a big deal.
He said that Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz’s vision for environmental protection was implemented in one year. For the first time in the history of Punjab, a huge amount of money was allocated for environmental protection. The environmental protection force is equipped with modern equipment.
