Signing of MoUs and agreements between Pakistan and Azerbaijan

پاکستان اور آذربائیجان کے درمیان مفاہمتی یادداشتوں اور معاہدوں کی تقریب کا انعقاد ہوا۔
وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف اور آذربائیجان کے صدر الہام علیوف نے تقریب میں شرکت کی۔
پاکستان اور آذربائیجان میں ایل این جی کی خرید و فروخت کے فریم ورک معاہدے میں ترمیمی معاہدہ ہوا۔اسٹیٹ آئل کمپنی آربائیجان اور ایف ڈبلیو او میں مچلکے ٹھلیاں وائٹ آئل پائپ لائن منصوبے کی مفاہمتی یادداشت اور اسٹیٹ آئل کمپنی آذربائیجان اور پاکستان ریفائنری لمیٹڈ کے درمیان مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔
آذربائیجان کے شہر نض چیوان اور پاکستان کے شہر لاہور کے درمیان ثقافتی تعاون کی مفاہمتی یادداشت پر دستخط ہوئے۔

وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کے ہمراہ مشترکہ پریس کانفرنس کرتے ہوئے صدر الہام علیوف نے کہا ہے کہ اپنے بھائی وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کو آذربائیجان میں خوش آمدید کہتے ہیں، دونوں ملکوں کے درمیان شراکت داری کو فروغ دے رہے ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ خطے کی صورتِ حال اور سلامتی کے امور پر یکساں نقطہ نظر رکھتے ہیں، گزشتہ سال پاکستان کے دورے میں دوطرفہ تعاون سے متعلق اہم پیشرفت ہوئی، اقتصادی اور تجارتی شعبوں میں تعاون بڑھانے کے بہت مواقع موجود ہیں۔
صدر آذربائیجان کا کہنا ہے کہ وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کی قیادت میں پاکستان کی کامیابیوں پر فخر ہے، خطے کی صورتِ حال اور سلامتی کے امور پر یکساں نقطہ نظر رکھتے ہیں، گزشتہ سال پاکستان کے دورے میں دوطرفہ تعاون سے متعلق اہم پیشرفت ہوئی۔

اس موقع پر گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ آذربائیجان کے دورے کی دعوت اور بھرپور میزبانی پر صدر الہام علیوف کا مشکور ہوں، باکو کی طرز پر اسلام آباد کو بھی خوبصورت شہر بنانے میں مصروف ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ آذربائیجان کے صدر کے ساتھ تعمیری مذاکرات ہوئے، صدر الہام علیوف کے پاکستانی عوام کے ساتھ لگاؤ پر فخر ہے، آذربائیجان کے ساتھ دوستی کے معاملے پر تمام سیاسی جماعتوں میں اتفاق ہے، دونوں ملکوں کے درمیان مختلف سطح پر تعلقات نئی بلندیوں کو چھو رہے ہیں۔
شہباز شریف کا کہنا ہے کہ باہمی مفاد کے مشترکہ منصوبوں سے دونوں ملکوں کے عوام مستفید ہوں گے، طے پانے والے معاہدوں کو ایک ماہ میں حتمی شکل دینے پر اتفاق ہوا، 2 ارب ڈالرز سرمایہ کاری کے معاہدوں پر اپریل میں اسلام آباد میں دستخط ہوں گے، قریبی دو طرفہ تعلقات کو معاشی میدان میں بھی وسعت دینی ہے۔
اس سے قبل وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کو آذربائیجان کے صدارتی محل زوولیا آمد کے موقع پر گارڈ آف آنر پیش کیا گیا۔
صدارتی محل پہنچنے پر آذربائیجان کے صدر الہام علیوف نے وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کا پرتپاک استقبال کیا اور گارڈ آف آنر کے دوران دونوں ملکوں کا قومی ترانہ بجایا گیا۔
وزیرِ اعظم شہباز شریف کے اعزاز میں پُروقار استقبالیہ تقریب کا انعقاد کیا گیا۔

A ceremony of signing MoUs and agreements was held between Pakistan and Azerbaijan.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev attended the ceremony.
An amendment to the framework agreement for the purchase and sale of LNG in Pakistan and Azerbaijan was signed. A memorandum of understanding was signed between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and FWO on the Machalke Thallian White Oil Pipeline Project and a memorandum of understanding between the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan and Pakistan Refinery Limited.
A memorandum of understanding on cultural cooperation was signed between the city of Nazcayvan, Azerbaijan, and the city of Lahore, Pakistan.

While holding a joint press conference with Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, President Ilham Aliyev said that he welcomes his brother Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif to Azerbaijan, promoting partnership between the two countries.
He said that they have the same perspective on the regional situation and security issues. During his visit to Pakistan last year, significant progress was made in bilateral cooperation. There are many opportunities to increase cooperation in the economic and trade sectors.
The President of Azerbaijan says that he is proud of Pakistan’s achievements under the leadership of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif. He has the same perspective on the regional situation and security issues. During his visit to Pakistan last year, significant progress was made in bilateral cooperation.
Constructive talks were held with the President of Azerbaijan: Prime Minister
Speaking on the occasion, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that he is grateful to President Ilham Aliyev for the invitation to visit Azerbaijan and the generous hospitality. He is also busy making Islamabad a beautiful city on the model of Baku.
He said that constructive talks were held with the President of Azerbaijan. He is proud of President Ilham Aliyev’s attachment to the Pakistani people. There is consensus among all political parties on the issue of friendship with Azerbaijan. Relations between the two countries are touching new heights at different levels.
Shahbaz Sharif says that the people of both countries will benefit from joint projects of mutual interest. It was agreed to finalize the agreements reached within a month. Investment agreements worth $2 billion will be signed in Islamabad in April. Close bilateral relations should also be expanded in the economic field.
Earlier, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif was presented with a guard of honor upon his arrival at the Presidential Palace of Azerbaijan in Zvolen.
Upon his arrival at the Presidential Palace, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev warmly welcomed Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and the national anthems of both countries were played during the guard of honor.
A grand reception ceremony was held in honor of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
