190 million pounds case: Imran Khan sentenced to 14 years and Bushra Bibi 7 years in prison

190 ملین پاؤنڈز کیس میں بانی پاکستان تحریک انصاف (پی ٹی آئی) عمران خان کو 14 اور انکی اہلیہ بشریٰ بی بی کو 7 سال قید کی سزا سنا دی گئی۔احتساب عدالت اسلام آباد کے جج ناصر جاوید رانا 190 ملین پاؤنڈز کیس کا محفوظ فیصلہ سنانے کیلئے اڈیالہ جیل پہنچے، ملزمان کی حاضری پوری ہونے پر فاضل جج نے محفوظ فیصلہ سنایا۔
احتساب عدالت کے جج ناصر جاوید رانا نے بانی پی ٹی آئی عمران خان کو 10 لاکھ اور بشریٰ بی بی کو 5 لاکھ روپے جرمانہ کر دیا، جرمانے کی عدم ادائیگی پر عمران خان کو 6 ماہ اور بشریٰ بی بی کو 3 ماہ مزید قید بھگتنا ہو گی۔
بشریٰ بی بی کمرہ عدالت سے گرفتار
عدالت نے القادر یونیورسٹی کی زمین بھی سرکاری تحویل میں لینے کا حکم دے دیا جبکہ جج ناصر جاوید رانا کے سزا سنانے کے بعد بانی پی ٹی آئی عمران خان کی اہلیہ بشریٰ بی بی کو کمرہ عدالت سے گرفتار کر لیا گیا۔
اہم کیس کی سماعت سے قبل بانی پی ٹی آئی عمران خان کو جیل سے کمرہ عدالت لایا گیا جبکہ انکی اہلیہ بشریٰ بی بی بھی عدالت پہنچیں، ان سے قبل نیب پراسیکیوشن ٹیم کے 3 ارکان عرفان احمد، سہیل عارف اور اویس ارشد بھی اڈیالہ جیل پہنچنے جبکہ وکیل صفائی سلمان اکرم راجا اور بشریٰ بی بی کی بیٹی اور داماد بھی عدالت میں موجود تھے۔
سماعت کے موقع پر میڈیا کے نمائندوں کو بھی بلایا گیا تھا، اس موقع پر جیل کے باہر سکیورٹی کے انتہائی سخت انتظامات کیے گئے، ایلیٹ کمانڈوز بھی جیل کے باہر سکیورٹی کا حصہ تھے، پولیس کی جانب سے اہم کیس کی سماعت کے موقع پر اڈیالہ جیل کی دیوار اور سامنے کھڑی تمام گاڑیوں کو بھی ہٹوا دیا گیا تھا۔
انصاف پر مبنی فیصلہ ہوا تو عمران خان رہا ہوں گے: بیرسٹر گوہر
190 ملین پاؤنڈز کیس کا فیصلہ سنائے جانے سے قبل پی ٹی آئی چیئرمین بیرسٹر گوہر اور رہنما شعیب شاہین بھی اڈیالہ جیل پہنچے۔
اس موقع پر میڈیا کے نمائندوں سے بات کرتے ہوئے چیئرمین پی ٹی آئی بیرسٹر گوہر نے کہا کہ 190 ملین پاؤنڈز کیس کا فیصلہ آج ملتوی نہیں ہو گا، ہم تیار ہو کر آئے ہیں، جو بھی فیصلہ آئے سننے کے لیے تیار ہیں۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ 2 سال سے جس طرح کی ہمارے ساتھ زیادتیاں ہوئی ہیں اس کا آپ اندازہ کر سکتے ہیں، انصاف پر مبنی فیصلہ ہوا تو بانی پی ٹی آئی عمران خان اڈیالہ جیل سے بری ہو کر رہا ہوں گے۔
یاد رہے کہ عدالت نے فریقین کے دلائل مکمل ہونے پر عمران خان اور بشریٰ بی بی کیخلاف 190 ملین پاؤنڈز کیس کا فیصلہ 18 دسمبر کو محفوظ کیا تھا، اس کے بعد تین مرتبہ فیصلہ موخر ہوا اور فیصلہ سنانے کی تاریخ تبدیل کی گئی۔
عمران خان اور بشریٰ بی بی کیخلاف 190 ملین پاؤنڈز کیس کا فیصلہ سنانے کی تاریخ پہلے 23 دسمبر پھر 6 جنوری، پھر 13 جنوری اور اس کے بعد 17 جنوری دی گئی تھی۔
ریفرنس کی سماعت میں کل 35 گواہ پیش کیے گئے اور 24 گواہ ترک کیے گئے، ریفرنس کے 6 ملزمان بیرسٹر شہزاد اکبر، زلفی بخاری و دیگر اشتہاری ڈکلیئر ہیں۔
190 ملین پاؤنڈز ریفرنس میں الزام عائد کیا گیا ہے کہ کرپشن کی رقم نجی ہاؤسنگ سوسائٹی کے جرمانے میں ایڈجسٹ کر کے قومی خزانے کو نقصان پہنچایا گیا، کیس میں وفاقی کابینہ سے حقائق چھپا کر جبری منظوری لینے کا الزام ہے۔

The court also ordered the land of Al-Qadir University to be taken into official custody, while Bushra Bibi, wife of PTI founder Imran Khan, was arrested from the courtroom after Judge Nasir Javed Rana pronounced the sentence.
Before the hearing of the important case, the founder PTI Imran Khan was brought from the jail to the court room while his wife Bushra Bibi also reached the court. While the daughter and son-in-law of the lawyer Salman Akram Raja and Bushra Bibi were also present in the court.
Media representatives were also called on the occasion of the hearing, strict security arrangements were made outside the jail on this occasion, elite commandos were also part of the security outside the jail, Adiala on the occasion of the hearing of the important case by the police. The prison wall and all the vehicles parked in front were also removed.
Imran Khan would have been free if the decision was based on justice: Barrister Gohar
PTI chairman Barrister Gohar and leader Shoaib Shaheen also reached Adiala Jail before the verdict in the £190 million case was pronounced.
Talking to media representatives on this occasion, Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar said that the decision of 190 million pounds case will not be postponed today, we have come prepared, we are ready to listen to whatever decision comes.
He said that you can imagine the kind of abuses that have happened to us for 2 years, if there is a decision based on justice, the founder of PTI Imran Khan will be acquitted from Adiala Jail.
It should be remembered that the court reserved the decision on the 190 million pounds case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi on December 18 after the arguments of the parties were completed.
The date of judgment in the £190 million case against Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi was first set for December 23, then January 6, then January 13 and then January 17.
A total of 35 witnesses were presented in the reference hearing and 24 witnesses were rejected, 6 accused of the reference are Barrister Shahzad Akbar, Zulfi Bukhari and other ad-declarants.
The 190 million pounds reference alleges that the national exchequer was damaged by adjusting the corruption money to fines of private housing societies, the case alleges that the facts were concealed from the federal cabinet and forced approval.
