Punjab: Unique record of enrollment of 1.1 million out-of-school children set

وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نواز شریف کے اقدامات کے باعث پنجاب کی تاریخ میں پہلی مرتبہ مختصر مدت میں 11 لاکھ آؤٹ آف سکول بچوں کی انرولمنٹ کا منفرد ریکارڈ قائم ہوگیا۔وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب مریم نوازشریف کی زیر صدارت خصوصی اجلاس منعقد ہوا جس میں اہم فیصلے کئے گئے۔
اجلاس میں وزیراعلیٰ مریم نوازشریف کو سکول ایجوکیشن کے موجودہ اور مجوزہ پراجیکٹس سے متعلق تفصیلی بریفنگ دی گئی، دوران بریفنگ بتایا گیا کہ پنجاب میں 11 ہزار سے زائد سکولوں کی آؤٹ سورسنگ مکمل ہو چکی ہے جس کے نتیجے میں بچوں کی انرولمنٹ میں کئی گنا اضافہ ہوا ہے۔
مریم نوازشریف نے وزیر تعلیم کو پنجاب ایجوکیشن فاؤنڈیشن کے تحت 11 لاکھ بچوں کی انرولمنٹ پر شاباش دی اور سکول مینجمنٹ کونسل کو 10 ارب روپے سے 90 دن کے اندر ضروری سہولتوں کی فراہمی یقینی بنانے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔
وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب نے ایک سال کے اندر تمام سکولوں میں درکار کلاس روم بنانے اور سکولوں کی 580 بوسیدہ ترین اور 2770 خستہ عمارتوں کی تعمیر ومرمت کا حکم دیا، سرکاری سکولوں کے پانچ لاکھ بچوں کی انگلش ٹرینرز سے سپوکن انگلش کی ٹریننگ کا ہدف مقرر کیا گیا ہے۔
انہوں نے سکول میل پروگرام کا دائرہ کار غذائی قلت کے شکار بچوں کے تناسب سے دیگر اضلاع اور تحصیلوں تک وسیع کرنے کی ہدایت کی ہے۔
مریم نوازشریف نے ہر ضلع میں گرلز اور بوائز کے لئے نوازشریف سکول آف ایمیننس بنانے کی ہدایت کی جبکہ پانچ سال میں 1750 سکولوں کی اپ گریڈیشن کا ہدف مقرر کیا ہے، اگلے مالی سال میں 250 سکولوں کی اپ گریڈیشن ہوگی۔
بریفنگ میں بتایا گیا کہ پنجاب کی 10 تحصیلوں میں 300 ٹیک- ایڈ سکول بنیں گے، آؤٹ سورس ہونے والے سکولوں میں 195 کلاس روم، 397 کمروں کی چھتوں کی تعمیر و مرمت کی گئی، آؤٹ سورس ہونے والے سکولوں میں 254538 مربع فٹ چاردیواری تعمیر کی گئی، آؤٹ سورس سکولوں میں 414 ٹوائلٹ اور 1543 واٹر ٹینک کی تعمیر کی گئی۔
نوازشریف سکول آف ایمیننس میں آئی ٹی، سائنس لیب، لائبریری، ملٹی پرپز پلے گراؤنڈ، سمارٹ بورڈ اور دیگر جدید سہولتیں میسر ہوں گی، 9ڈویژن میں نوازشریف سنٹرآف ایکسی لینس ارلی چائلڈ ایجوکیشن سنٹر کے پراجیکٹ کا جائزہ لیا گیا، 4327 سکولوں میں باؤنڈری وال، 4066 ٹوائلٹ،8488 فرنیچر اور 100 واٹر فلٹریشن پلانٹ کا پراجیکٹ پیش کیا گیا۔
وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز شریف نے کہا کہ بچوں کی تعلیم کے لئے بہت سا کام کرنا چاہتی ہوں، ہر سکول میں ٹوائلٹ سمیت دیگر سہولتیں ناگزیر ہیں، سکولوں میں سولر سسٹم کی تنصیب کے لئے اقدامات کئے جا رہے ہیں۔

Due to the initiatives of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, a unique record of enrollment of 1.1 million out-of-school children was established for the first time in the history of Punjab in a short period of time. A special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif in which important decisions were taken.
In the meeting, Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif was given a detailed briefing on the current and proposed projects of school education. During the briefing, it was informed that the outsourcing of more than 11,000 schools in Punjab has been completed, as a result of which the enrollment of children has increased many times.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif congratulated the Education Minister on the enrollment of 1.1 million children under the Punjab Education Foundation and directed the School Management Council to ensure the provision of necessary facilities within 90 days with a budget of Rs. 10 billion.
The Chief Minister of Punjab ordered the construction of required classrooms in all schools within a year and the construction and repair of 580 dilapidated and 2770 dilapidated school buildings. A target has been set for training five lakh children of government schools in spoken English from English trainers.
He has directed to expand the scope of the School Meal Program to other districts and tehsils in proportion to the number of children suffering from malnutrition.
Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed to establish Nawaz Sharif School of Eminence for girls and boys in every district, while a target has been set for the upgradation of 1750 schools in five years, 250 schools will be upgraded in the next financial year.
The briefing said that 300 tech-aid schools will be built in 10 tehsils of Punjab, 195 classrooms, 397 roofs of rooms were constructed and repaired in outsourced schools, 254,538 square feet of boundary wall were constructed in outsourced schools, 414 toilets and 1,543 water tanks were constructed in outsourced schools.
IT, science lab, library, multi-purpose playground, smart board and other modern facilities will be available in Nawaz Sharif School of Eminence, the project of Nawaz Sharif Center of Excellence Early Child Education Center in 9th division was reviewed, a project of boundary wall, 4,066 toilets, 8,488 furniture and 100 water filtration plants in 4,327 schools was presented.
Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that she wants to do a lot of work for the education of children. Toilets and other facilities are indispensable in every school. Steps are being taken to install solar systems in schools.
