پنجاب حکومت نے صوبے کو عالمی معیار کے سیاحتی مرکز میں تبدیل کرنےکا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔
نجی ٹی وی کے مطابق پنجاب حکومت نے صوبے کو تاریخ، تہذیب اور سیاحت کا ریجنل اور انٹرنیشنل مرکز بنانےکا فیصلہ کیا ہے اور اس حوالے سے صوبے کے 170 تاریخی مقامات کو عالمی معیارکے سیاحتی مراکز میں تبدیل کرنےکا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔ سینئر صوبائی وزیر مریم اورنگزیب نے تمام مجوزہ منصوبوں کی منظوری دے دی جس کے تحت پنجاب ٹورازم اینڈ ہیریٹیج اتھارٹی بنانےکا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے، تاریخ، ورثہ اورسیاحت سے متعلق تمام ادارےاتھارٹی کے ماتحت ہوں گے جب کہ اتھارٹی کی منظوری کے لیے سمری کابینہ کوبھجوادی گئی ہے، پنجاب کی پہلی جامع ٹورسٹ پالیسی بھی تیار کرلی گئی ہے۔ وزیراعلیٰ مریم نواز نے تاریخی مقامات کی 3 مراحل میں بحالی کامنصوبہ سالانہ ترقیاتی پروگرام میں شامل کرلیا ہے اور منصوبے کی ٹینڈرنگ شروع کرنے کی ہدایت بھی کردی ہے۔
منصوبے کا پہلا مرحلہ جون میں جب کہ دیگر تاریخی مقامات کی بحالی دوسرے اور تیسرے مرحلے میں مکمل ہوگی، اس حوالے سے 16 سیاحتی منصوبوں کے پی سی ون کی فوری تیاری کی ہدایت کردی گئی ہے۔
منصوبےکے تحت بانسرا گلی، ٹورسٹ ویلیج اور پارکس کی تعمیر کی جائے گی جب کہ تاریخی شہرٹیکسلا کو انٹرنیشنل ٹورسٹ سٹی بنانے کا فیصلہ بھی کیا گیا ہے۔ ٹیکسلامیوزیم کی اپ گریڈیشن، جدید ٹیکنالوجی سے ڈسپلے سینٹرزبنانےکافیصلہ کیا گیا ہے اور ٹیکسلا میں بدھ مت پیروکاروں کی سہولت کے لیے عبادت گاہیں، سدھارتا گیلریز بھی تعمیر ہوں گی جب کہ سکھ برادری کی سہولت کے 46 غیر فعال گوردوارے بحال کرنےکی بھی منظوری دے دی گئی ہے۔ پنجاب حکومت نے منصوبے کے تحت سوئٹزرلینڈ کی طرز پر چھانگا مانگا کو جدید تفریح گاہ بنانےکی منظوری بھی دی ہے جب کہ سیاحت کےفروغ کے لیے بہترین سڑکیں تعمیر کی جائیں گی اور عالمی معیارکی جدید سہولتیں فراہم کی جائیں گی۔

According to a private TV, the Punjab government has decided to transform the province into a regional and international hub of history, civilization and tourism, and in this regard, it has been decided to transform 170 historical sites of the province into world-class tourism hubs. Senior Provincial Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb approved all the proposed projects, under which it has been decided to form the Punjab Tourism and Heritage Authority. All institutions related to history, heritage and tourism will be under the authority. The summary of the authority has been sent to the cabinet for approval. Punjab’s first comprehensive tourist policy has also been prepared. Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has included the plan for the restoration of historical sites in three phases in the annual development program and has also directed to start the tendering of the project.
The first phase of the project will be completed in June, while the restoration of other historical sites will be completed in the second and third phases. In this regard, instructions have been given to immediately prepare PC-1 of 16 tourism projects.
Under the project, Bansara Gali, Tourist Village and parks will be constructed, while it has also been decided to make the historic city of Taxila an international tourist city. It has been decided to upgrade the Taxila Museum, build display centers with modern technology, and places of worship and Siddhartha Galleries will also be constructed in Taxila for the convenience of Buddhist followers, while approval has also been given to restore 46 inactive Gurdwaras for the convenience of the Sikh community. The Punjab government has also approved the construction of Changa Manga as a modern recreation center on the model of Switzerland under the project, while excellent roads will be constructed for the promotion of tourism and modern facilities of world standard will be provided.
