لاہور:پاکستان اور ویسٹ انڈیز کی ویمنز ٹیموں کے درمیان ون ڈے انٹرنیشنل سیریز کی ٹرافی کی تقریب کی رونمائی کردی گئی۔ٹرافی کی رونمائی کی تقریب میں قومی ٹیم کی کپتان ندا ڈار اور ہیلی میتھوز نے فلیگ اسٹاف ہاؤس کہلانے والے قائداعظم ہاؤس کے احاطہ میں ٹرافی کی رونمائی کی اور ساتھ تصاویر بنوائیں۔شارع فیصل پر قومی میوزیم کی حیثیت کے حامل قائداعظم ہاؤس میں بانی پاکستان محمد علی جناح 1944 سے اپنی وفات 1948 تک قیام پزیر رہے جبکہ انکی بہن مادر ملت فاطمہ جناح نے یہاں 1964 تک رہائش پزیر رہیں۔ بعدازاں اس مقام کو قومی میوزیم کا درجہ دے دیا گیا۔ سیریز کے تینوں میچز آئی سی سی ویمنز چیمپئن شپ کا حصہ ہیں، دوسرا ون ڈے 21 اور تیسرا 23 اپریل کو کھیلا جائے گا،پہلے دونوں میچز صبح 9.30 بجے اور تیسرا ون ڈے دوپہر سہ پہر ساڑھے 3 بجے شروع ہوگا۔
LAHORE: The trophy ceremony of the One Day International Series between the women’s teams of Pakistan and West Indies was inaugurated. In the inauguration ceremony of the trophy, the captains of the national team, Nida Dar and Hayley Mathews, were present at the Quaid-e-Azam House, also known as the Flagstaff House. In the Quaid-e-Azam House, which has the status of a national museum on Shaara Faisal, the founder of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, stayed from 1944 until his death in 1948, while his sister, Mother of the Nation, Fatima Jinnah, stayed here until 1964. Later this place was given the status of National Museum. All three matches of the series are part of the ICC Women’s Championship, the second ODI will be played on April 21 and the third on April 23.
