Pakistan defeated South Africa by 3 wickets

میزبان ٹیم کی جانب سے ہینرچ کلاسن 86 رنز بنا کر نمایاں رہے، ریان ریکلٹن نے 36 ، ایڈن مارکرم نے 35، ٹونی ڈی زورزی نے 33 اور مارکو جانسن نے 10رنز بنائے۔ پاکستان کی جانب سے سلمان آغا نے 4، ابرار احمد نے 2 جبکہ شاہین شاہ آفریدی اور صائم ایوب نے ایک ایک وکٹ حاصل کی۔
قومی ٹیم نے ہدف 7 وکٹوں کے نقصان پر پورا کر لیا، قومی ٹیم کی جانب سے عبداللہ شفیق بغیر کوئی رنز بنائے پویلین لوٹ گئے، بابر اعظم نے 23 رنز کی اننگز کھیلی، محمد رضوان ایک، کامران غلام 4، عرفان خان ایک، شاہین شاہ آفریدی بغیر کوئی رنز بنائے آؤٹ ہوئے۔
صائم ایوب نے ایک بار پھر عمدہ بیٹنگ کا مظاہرہ کرتے ہوئے 10 چوکوں اور 3 چھکوں کی مدد سے 109 رنز کی شاندار اننگز کھیلی، سلمان علی آغا نے ان کا بھرپور ساتھ دیتے ہوئے 82 رنز بنائے اور آؤٹ نہیں ہوئے۔ سلمان علی آغا کو آل راؤنڈر پرفارمنس کے باعث مین آف دی میچ قرار دیا گیا، سلمان علی آغا نے اپنا مین آف دی میچ ایوارڈ صائم ایوب کو دے دیا۔

In the first ODI match of the series between Pakistan and South Africa in Paarl, South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first and scored 239 runs for the loss of 9 wickets in the allotted 50 overs.
On behalf of the host team, Heinrich Klaasen scored 86 runs, Ryan Rickleton scored 36 runs, Aidan Markram scored 35 runs, Tony De Zorzi scored 33 runs and Marco Johnson scored 10 runs. On behalf of Pakistan, Salman Agha took 4 wickets, Abrar Ahmed took 2 wickets while Shaheen Shah Afridi and Saeem Ayub took one wicket each.
The national team achieved the target with the loss of 7 wickets, on behalf of the national team Abdullah Shafiq returned to the pavilion without scoring any runs, Babar Azam played an innings of 23 runs, Muhammad Rizwan one, Kamran Ghulam 4, Irfan Khan one, Shaheen Shah Afridi was dismissed without scoring any runs.
Saim Ayub once again showed excellent batting and played a brilliant innings of 109 runs with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes, Salman Ali Agha supported him by scoring 82 runs and not out. Salman Ali Agha was adjudged Man of the Match for his all-rounder performance.
