Lahore: Fire broke out in the grid station of NTDC, several areas lost power.

این ٹی ڈی سی کے بند روڈ پر 220 کے وی کے گرڈ سٹیشن میں پاور ٹرانسفارمر جلنے سے آگ لگی، آگ کے باعث بند روڈ سے فیڈ ہونے والے لیسکو کے تمام گرڈ سٹیشنز بند ہو گئے۔
آتشزدگی سے گرڈ سٹیشن بند ہونے کے بعد سبزہ زار، علامہ اقبال ٹاؤن، شاہ پور، اورنج لائن میٹرو ٹرین کے گرڈ، قرطبہ، میکلور روڈ، سنی ویو، سید پور سمیت متعدد علاقے بجلی سے محروم رہے ۔
آتشزدگی کی اطلاع ملنے پر فائر بریگیڈ کا عملہ موقع پر پہنچ گیا اور این ٹی ڈی سی اہلکاروں کیساتھ ملکر آگ بجھانے میں مصروف رہے، آگ کی شدت زیادہ ہونے پر ریسکیو آپریشن میں مشکلات کا سامنا کرنا پڑا۔ آگ پر کئی گھنٹوں کی جدوجہد کے بعد قابو پا لیا

A fire broke out in a 220 KV grid station on the closed road of NTDC due to the burning of a power transformer.
After the grid station was closed due to the fire, many areas including Sabzazar, Allama Iqbal Town, Shahpur, Orange Line Metro Train Grid, Cordoba, Maclure Road, Sunny View, Syedpur remained without electricity.
On receiving the information about the fire, the fire brigade personnel reached the spot and along with the NTDC officials were busy extinguishing the fire. The fire was brought under control after several hours of struggle
