The first flight of Pakistani pilgrims stranded in Iraq reached Karachi

عراق میں پھنسے 300 سے زائد پاکستانی زائرین کو لانی والی پرواز بغداد سے کراچی پہنچ گئی۔زائرین کی آمد سے قبل گورنر سندھ کامران خان ٹیسوری کا کہنا تھا کہ ان سے رکن قومی اسمبلی حمید حسین نے ملاقات کرکے مسئلہ کی طرف توجہ دلائی تھی جس پر انہوں نے عراقی سفیر سے بات کی تھی۔
دفتر خارجہ کے مطابق عراق ایئر ویز کے دو طیاروں میں فنی خرابی کے باعث 654 پاکستانی زائرین بغداد ایئرپورٹ پر پھنس گئے تھے. وفاقی وزیر مذہبی امور چوہدری سالک حسین نے معاملے سے متعلق عراق میں پاکستانی سفیر ذیشان احمد کو فون کیا تھا۔
پاکستانی سفیر نے کہا کہ پاسپورٹ گم ہونے کی خبروں میں کوئی صداقت نہیں، صورتحال ٹورازم کمپنیوں کی بےانتظامی کے باعث پیدا ہوئی۔ زائرین کو لے کر دوسری پرواز آج سہہ پہر 3 بجے کے بعد کراچی پہنچنے کا امکان ہے۔ واضح رہے کہ بغدار ایئرپورٹ پر 654 پاکستانی زائرین پھنس گئے تھے۔

The flight carrying more than 300 Pakistani pilgrims stuck in Iraq arrived in Karachi from Baghdad. Before the arrival of the pilgrims, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori said that Member of the National Assembly Hameed Hussain met him and drew attention to the problem. He had spoken to the Iraqi ambassador.
According to the Foreign Office, 654 Pakistani pilgrims were stranded at Baghdad Airport due to technical problems in two Iraqi Airways planes. Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain called Pakistani Ambassador to Iraq Zeeshan Ahmed regarding the matter.
The Pakistani ambassador said that there is no truth in the news of lost passports, the situation arose due to the mismanagement of tourism companies. The second flight carrying pilgrims is likely to reach Karachi after 3 pm today. It should be noted that 654 Pakistani pilgrims were stuck at Baghdar Airport.
