Short-term kidnapping case: 3 officers and officials of CTD suspended

ڈی آئی جی سی ٹی ڈی کا کہنا ہے کہ شہری کی شارٹ ٹرم کڈنیپنگ اور ڈیجیٹل کرنسی لوٹنے کے معاملے میں سی ٹی ڈی کے 3 افسران و اہلکاروں کو معطل کردیا گیا۔
انہوں نے اپنے بیان میں کہا کہ سب انسپکٹر راجا بشیر، کانسٹیبل عمر اور علی رضا معطل ہیں جبکہ مقدمے میں اہلکار علی رضا مفرور ہے۔
ڈی آئی جی سی ٹی ڈی کے مطابق کانسٹیبل عمر ریمانڈ پر پولیس کسٹڈی میں ہے۔
خیال رہے کہ کراچی میں شارٹ ٹرم کڈنیپنگ کے دوران شہری سے ڈیجیٹل کرنسی لوٹنے کا واقعہ پیش آیا جس کے بعد سے سی ٹی ڈی اہلکاروں اور افسران کو معطل کیے جانے کا سلسلہ جاری ہے۔
ایک دہائی سے بھی زیادہ سی ٹی ڈی میں رہنے والے سینئر افسر راجہ عمر خطاب کو ایس پی سی ٹی ڈی کے عہدے سے ہٹادیا گیا جبکہ انہیں سینٹرل پولیس آفس (سی پی او) رپورٹ کرنے کے احکامات جاری کردیے گئے تھے۔
انکے ساتھ ساتھ ڈی ایس پی سی پیک راجہ فرخ یونس کو بھی سینٹرل پولیس آفس رپورٹ کرنے کے احکامات جاری کیے ہیں۔
آئی جی سندھ کے حکمنامے میں دونوں افسران کے تبادلے کی وجہ نہیں بتائی گئی تھی تاہم ذرائع کا کہنا تھا کہ منگھوپیر میں گذشتہ دنوں شہری کو اغوا کر کے ڈیجٹل کرنسی لوٹنے کے واقعہ پر دونوں افسران کو ہٹایا گیا ہے۔
ذرائع کے مطابق دونوں افسران کے سیل کی پولیس موبائلیں ڈیجٹل کرنسی لوٹنے میں مبینہ طور پر ملوث پائی گئی تھیں۔
واقعہ میں ملوث پولیس اہلکار سمیت 8 افراد کو اب تک گرفتار کیا گیا ہے، مرکزی کردار پولیس اہلکار علی رضا فرار ہے جس کی تلاش جاری ہے۔

DIG CTD says that 3 officers and officials of CTD were suspended in the case of short-term kidnapping of a citizen and looting of digital currency.
He said in his statement that sub-inspector Raja Bashir, constable Umar and Ali Raza are suspended while the official in the case Ali Raza is absconding.
According to DIG CTD, Constable Umar is in police custody on remand.
It should be noted that during the short-term kidnapping in Karachi, there was an incident of stealing digital currency from a citizen, after which CTD personnel and officers have been suspended.
Senior officer Raja Umar Khattab, who has been in the CTD for more than a decade, was removed from the post of SPCTD while he was ordered to report to the Central Police Office (CPO).
Along with them, orders have also been issued to DSP PC Pack Raja Farrukh Younis to report to the Central Police Office.
The reason for the transfer of the two officers was not mentioned in the order of the IG Sindh, however, the sources said that the two officers have been removed due to the incident of abducting a citizen and looting digital currency in Manghopir.
According to sources, the cell police mobiles of the two officers were allegedly involved in looting digital currency.
8 people including the policeman involved in the incident have been arrested so far, the main character is the policeman Ali Raza Farar who is being searched for.
