The annual ceremony of bathing the Kaaba

سعودی عرب میں آج نماز فجر کے بعد سالانہ غسلِ کعبہ کی روح پرور تقریب ہوئی۔ ہر سال کی طرح اس برس بھی 15 محرم الحرام کو خانہ کعبہ کے اندرونی حصے کو غسل دیا گیا، خادم حرمین شریفین شاہ سلمان بن عبدالعزیز کی نیابت کرتے ہوئے ڈپٹی گورنر مکہ مکرمہ نے غسل کا آغاز کیا۔
اس بابرکت عمل کیلئے خانہ کعبہ کے کلید بردار عبدالوہاب بن زین العابدین الشیبی نے نماز فجر کے بعد بیت اللہ کا دروازہ کھولا اور پھر حکام اندر داخل ہوئے، خانہ کعبہ کی اندرونی دیواروں، فرش اور دروازے کو آب زم زم اور عرق گلاب سے دھویا گیا، غسل کے بعد اسے عود، عرق گلاب اور بخوز سمیت دیگر خوشبوؤں سے معطر کیا گیا۔

خانہ کعبہ کو غسل دینے کی سعادت ڈپٹی گورنر مکہ، حرمین شریفین انتظامی امور کے صدر اور اراکین سمیت اعلیٰ سعودی حکام نے حاصل کی۔غسل کعبہ کے موقع پر بیت اللہ شریف کے گرد سکیورٹی فورسز نے حفاطتی حصار قائم رکھا۔

In Saudi Arabia today, after the Fajr prayer, the annual Ghusl-e-Kaaba ceremony was held. Like every year, this year also on the 15th of Muharram, the inner part of the Kaaba was bathed. The Deputy Governor of Makkah started the bathing on behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
For this blessed act, the key-bearer of the Kaaba, Abdul Wahab bin Zain al-Abidin al-Shaibi, opened the door of Bait Allah after the Fajr prayer, and then the authorities entered, the inner walls, floor and door of the Kaaba were washed with Zamzam water and rose water. After the bath, he was perfumed with other fragrances including Oud, Rose and Bukhoz. High Saudi officials including the Deputy Governor of Makkah, the President and members of Haramain Sharifin Administrative Affairs had the privilege of bathing the Kaaba. On the occasion of Ghusl Kaaba, security forces established a security fence around Baitullah Sharif.
