Take electricity from whoever gives cheap electricity, it is not the government’s job to do business, Gohar Ejaz

سابق نگراں وزیر تجارت و صنعت گوہر اعجاز نے کہا ہے کہ جو سستی بجلی دے اس سے بجلی لیں، حکومت کا کام نہیں کہ کاروبار کرے۔ ایک بیان میں گوہر اعجاز نے کہا کہ دو پلانٹس دگنی قیمت پر لگائے گئے اور ایسے تین پلانٹس ہیں جو کام کیے بغیر کروڑوں روپے لے گئے۔ گوہر اعجاز کا کہنا ہے کہ آئی پی پیز کے ساتھ معاہدوں کا فارنزک آڈٹ کرایا جائے۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ آج تمام چیمبرز کی طرف سے یہ پیغام پہنچانا چاہتے ہیں عوام کے پاس پیسہ ہو گا تو کاروبار ہو گا۔سابق نگراں وزیر کا کہنا ہے کہ کپیسٹی پیمنٹ کے نام پر بغیر بجلی بنائے یہ اتنا پیسہ لے رہے ہیں۔

Former Caretaker Minister of Commerce and Industry Gohar Ejaz has said that take electricity from whoever gives cheap electricity, it is not the government’s job to do business. In a statement, Gohar Ejaz said that two plants were set up at double the cost and there are three plants which took crores of rupees without working. Gohar Ejaz says that contracts with IPPs should be forensically audited.
He said that today all the chambers want to convey this message that people will have money then business will happen. The former caretaker minister says that they are taking so much money without generating electricity in the name of capacity payment.
