Farewell Friday gatherings, Quds Day rallies, security on high alert

جمعةالوداع کی عبادات اور یوم القدس کی ریلیوں کے باعث ملک بھر میں عبادت گاہوں کے لیے خصوصی حفاظتی انتظامات کیے گئے ہیں۔یوم القدس کے حوالے سے پاکستان کے مختلف شہروں میں سکیورٹی کے پیش نظر مختلف شاہراہوں کو بند کیا گیا ہے اور متبادل ٹریفک پلان بھی جاری کیے گئے ہیں۔
ہر سال مسلمانوں کے مقدس مہینے رمضان کا آخری جمعہ یوم القدس کے طور پر منایا جاتا ہے، اس موقع پر دنیا بھر میں فلسطینیوں کے حق میں مظاہرے منعقد کیے جاتے ہیں۔
یوم القدس کی مناسبت سے پاکستان کے مختلف شہروں میں مذہبی جماعتوں کی جانب سے فلسطین کے حق میں ریلیاں نکالنے کا اعلان بھی کیا گیا ہے۔
یوم القدس کی حساسیت کے پیش نظر وفاقی دارالحکومت اسلام آباد میں مقامی تعطیل کا اعلان کیا گیا ہے اور ڈپٹی کمشنر کی جانب سے جاری اعلامیے کے مطابق تمام تعلیمی اداروں میں بھی آج چھٹی دی گئی ہے۔
کراچی میں بھی آج یوم القدس کی ریلیوں کا اعلان کیا گیا ہے جس کے باعث کسی بھی ناخوشگوار صورت حال سے نمٹنے کے لیے عام تعطیل کا اعلان کیا گیا ہے۔
یوم القدس کے موقع پر اسلام آباد کے ریڈ زون کو جانے کے لیے صرف مارگلہ روڈ کو کھلا رکھا گیا ہے تاہم وہاں موجود سکیورٹی چیک پوسٹس پر معمول سے زیادہ نفری تعینات کی گئی ہے جبکہ وہاں جانے والے دیگر راستے کنٹینر لگا کر سیل کر دیے گئے ہیں۔
ادھر آئی جی پنجاب عبدالکریم کا کہنا ہے کہ جمعةالوداع کی عبادات، یوم القدس کی ریلیوں کو بھرپور سکیورٹی فراہم کی جائے گی، مغربی سرحدی صورتحال کے پیش نظر دہشت گرد و شر پسند عناصر اور مشکوک افراد پر کڑی نظر رکھیں گے جبکہ مساجد، عبادت گاہوں، پولیس چوکیوں، غیر ملکی سفارت خانوں، حساس مقامات اور تنصیبات کی سکیورٹی بھی بڑھا دی جائے گی۔
ترجمان پنجاب پولیس نے کہا ہے کہ لاہور سمیت صوبہ بھر کی 32 ہزار 500 سے زائد مساجد، امام بارگاہوں، عبادت گاہوں کی سکیورٹی پر 83 ہزار سے زائد پولیس افسران، اہلکار اور کمیونٹی رضاکار تعینات ہیں ، یوم القدس کے موقع پر نکالی جانیوالی 136 ریلیوں کی سکیورٹی کیلئے 25 ہزار سے زائد افسران و اہلکار فرائض انجام دے رہے ہیں جبکہ صوبہ بھر میں اے کیٹگری کی 15، بی کیٹگری کی 22، سی کیٹگری کی 99 ریلیاں نکالی جا رہی ہیں۔
انہوں نے سکیورٹی خدشات کے پیشِ نظر حکم دیا ہے کہ ڈولفن سکواڈ، پیرو، ایلیٹ ٹیمیں مذہبی و حساس مقامات، مارکیٹوں کے گرد پٹرولنگ بڑھا دیں جبکہ سی سی ٹی وی کیمروں کی مدد سے مساجد، عبادت گاہوں، مارکیٹوں سمیت حساس مقامات کی مانیٹرنگ یقینی بنائیں۔
آئی پنجاب کا کہنا تھا کہ فتنہ الخوارج اور فتنہ الہندوستان کے تدارک کے لئے سرچ اینڈ کومبنگ آپریشنز کو جاری رکھیں، شہروں کے داخلی و خارجی راستوں اور بین الصوبائی چیک پوسٹوں پر تعینات پولیس اہلکار انتہائی چوکس رہیں، علما کرام و مشائخ عظام ممبر و محراب سے بین المذاہب ہم آہنگی اورامن کا پرچار کریں۔
علاوہ ازیں انہوں نے کہا آر پی اوز، ڈی پی اوز مساجد و امن کمیٹیوں کی ارکان اور منتظمین سے مسلسل رابطے میں رہیں، شہریوں کے تعاون سے رمضان المبارک کا پر امن انعقاد یقینی بنارہے ہیں۔

Special security arrangements have been made for places of worship across the country due to the Friday prayers and Quds Day rallies. Various highways have been closed in various cities of Pakistan for security reasons regarding Quds Day and alternative traffic plans have also been issued.
Every year, the last Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan is celebrated as Quds Day, and demonstrations are held all over the world in favor of the Palestinians.
On the occasion of Quds Day, religious parties have also announced to hold rallies in favor of Palestine in various cities of Pakistan.
In view of the sensitivity of Quds Day, a local holiday has been declared in the federal capital Islamabad and according to a statement issued by the Deputy Commissioner, a holiday has also been declared in all educational institutions today.
Quds Day rallies have also been announced in Karachi today, due to which a public holiday has been declared to deal with any unpleasant situation.
On the occasion of Quds Day, only Margalla Road has been kept open to access the Red Zone of Islamabad, however, more personnel have been deployed at the security check posts there than usual, while other routes leading there have been sealed with containers.
Meanwhile, IG Punjab Abdul Karim says that full security will be provided for the Friday prayers and Quds Day rallies. In view of the situation on the western border, a close watch will be kept on terrorists and malicious elements and suspicious persons, while the security of mosques, places of worship, police posts, foreign embassies, sensitive places and installations will also be increased.
The Punjab Police spokesperson has said that more than 83,000 police officers, officials and community volunteers are deployed for the security of more than 32,500 mosques, imambargahs and places of worship across the province, including Lahore. More than 25,000 officers and officials are performing security duties for the 136 rallies to be held on the occasion of Quds Day, while 15 A category, 22 B category, and 99 C category rallies are being held across the province.
In view of security concerns, he has ordered that the Dolphin Squad, Peru, and Elite teams should increase patrols around religious and sensitive places and markets, while ensuring monitoring of sensitive places including mosques, places of worship and markets with the help of CCTV cameras.
I-Punjab said that search and combing operations should continue to prevent Fitna al-Khawarij and Fitna al-Hindustan, police personnel deployed at the entry and exit points of cities and inter-provincial check posts should be extremely vigilant, and clerics and great scholars should preach interfaith harmony and peace from the pulpit and mihrab. In addition, he said that RPOs and DPOs should be in constant contact with members and administrators of mosques and peace committees, and with the cooperation of citizens, they are ensuring a peaceful celebration of Ramadan.
