Bannu: Militants attack peace committee office, 3 killed, 9 injured

بنوں کے تھانہ اتمانزئی کی حدود میں امن کمیٹی کے دفتر پر نامعلوم شدت پسندوں نے حملہ کر دیا۔
پولیس کے مطابق بنوں کے تھانہ اتمانزئی کی حدود میں واقع علاقہ گربز میں شدت پسندوں کی جانب سے امن کمیٹی کے دفتر پر حملہ کیا گیا جس کے نتیجے میں 3 افراد جاں بحق جبکہ 9 زخمی ہوگئے، جوابی فائرنگ سے 8 حملہ آور بھی زخمی ہوئے۔
پولیس کے مطابق زخمی افراد کو فوری طور پر مقامی ہسپتال منتقل کر دیا گیا ہے جبکہ علاقے میں سکیورٹی سخت کر دی گئی ہے۔
حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ واقعے کی تحقیقات کا آغاز کر دیا گیا، حملہ آوروں کی گرفتاری کیلئے سرچ آپریشن جاری ہے۔
قبل ازیں بنوں میں پولیس چوکی فتح خیل پر دہشتگردوں کی جانب سے رات گئے حملہ کیا گیا جس میں 2 پولیس اہلکار شہید ہوگئے، شہداء میں ضیاء اللہ اور رحیم اللہ شامل ہیں۔
