ماحولیاتی ویب سائٹ کے مطابق شہر میں سموگ کی اوسط شرح 429 ریکارڈ کی گئی ہے، راوی روڈ کے علاقے کا اے کیو آئی 1198، لوئر مال کا 810 اور ایف سی کالج کے اطراف کا ایئر کوالٹی انڈیکس 706 ریکارڈ کیا گیا ہے۔
اس کے علاوہ پاکستان میں گوجرانوالہ سب سے زیادہ آلودہ ترین شہر ہے جہاں کا اے کیو آئی 593 تک پہنچ گیا ہے، فیصل آباد میں ایئر کوالٹی انڈیکس 365 اور ملتان میں 299 ریکارڈ کیا گیا ہے، پشاور کا اے کیو آئی 172 کو چھو گیا ہے۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق بھارتی دارالحکومت نئی دہلی دنیا کے آلودہ ترین شہروں میں سر فہرست ہے جہاں اے کیو آئی 702 تک پہنچ گیا ہے۔
ماہرین صحت نے شہریوں کو ماسک استعمال کرنے، غیر ضروری باہر آنے جانے سے گریز کرنے اور گھروں میں ایئر پیوریفائر کا استعمال بڑھانے کی ہدایت کی ہے، ماحولیاتی ماہرین کا کہنا ہے کہ فصلوں کی باقیات جلانے، ٹریفک کے دباؤ اور صنعتی اخراج کے باعث شہر کی فضا بدترین آلودگی کا شکار ہو رہی ہے۔

According to the environmental website, the average smog rate in the city is recorded at 429, the AQI of the Ravi Road area is 1198, the Lower Mall is 810 and the Air Quality Index around FC College is 706.
Apart from this, Gujranwala is the most polluted city in Pakistan where the AQI has reached 593, the Air Quality Index in Faisalabad is 365 and 299 in Multan, and the AQI of Peshawar has touched 172.
According to the report, the Indian capital New Delhi is at the top of the list of the most polluted cities in the world where the AQI has reached 702.
Health experts have advised citizens to wear masks, avoid unnecessary outings, and increase the use of air purifiers in their homes. Environmental experts say that the city’s air is becoming increasingly polluted due to crop residue burning, traffic congestion, and industrial emissions.
