Second phase of elections in India: Rahul Gandhi’s fate will be decided today

نڈیا کی پارلیمان کے 543 رکنی ایوانِ زیریں لوک سبھا کے انتخابات کے دوسرے مرحلے کے لیے 26 اپریل کو ووٹ ڈالے جا رہے ہیں اور اس مرحلے میں کانگریس کے راہول گاندھی سمیت کئی اہم رہنماؤں کی قسمت کا فیصلہ ہو گا۔
دوسرے مرحلے میں ملک کی 13 ریاستوں کے 88 حلقوں میں ووٹنگ کا عمل جاری ہے جس میں سولہ کروڑ کے قریب رجسٹرڈ ووٹر شریک ہوں گے۔
جن 13 ریاستوں میں جمعے کو ووٹنگ ہو رہی ہے ان میں آسام، بہار، چھتیس گڑھ، کرناٹک، کیرالہ، مدھیہ پردیش، مہاراشٹر، منی پور، راجستھان، تریپورہ، اتر پردیش، مغربی بنگال اور جموں و کشمیر شامل ہیں۔
انڈین نیشنل کانگریس کے راہول گاندھی کیرالہ سے دوسری بار الیکشن لڑ رہے ہیں۔ 2019 کے الیکشن میں راہول گاندھی نے اتر پردیش میں امیٹھی کے حلقے کے ساتھ ساتھ کیرالہ سے بھی الیکشن لڑا تھا اور جہاں امیٹھی میں راہل کو بی جے پی کی سمرتی ایرانی سے شکست کا سامنا کرنا پڑا تھا وہیں وہ کیرالہ سے رکن اسمبلی منتخب ہوئے تھے۔

Voting for the second phase of elections to the Lok Sabha, the 543-member lower house of India’s parliament, will be held on April 26 and will decide the fate of several key leaders, including Congress’s Rahul Gandhi.
In the second phase, the voting process is going on in 88 constituencies of 13 states of the country, in which around sixteen crore registered voters will participate.
The 13 states going to polls on Friday include Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Rajasthan, Tripura, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Jammu and Kashmir.
Rahul Gandhi of the Indian National Congress is contesting the election for the second time from Kerala. In the 2019 election, Rahul Gandhi contested from Amethi constituency in Uttar Pradesh as well as from Kerala, and where Rahul faced defeat from BJP’s Smriti Irani in Amethi, he was elected Member of Assembly from Kerala. .
