British High Commissioner Jane Marriott meeting with Defense Minister Khawaja Mohammad Asif

برطانوی ہائی کمشنر جین میریٹ کی وزیر دفاع، دفاعی پیداوار اور ہوا بازی خواجہ محمد آصف سے ملاقات ہوئی۔ملاقات کے دوران وزیر دفاع خواجہ آصف نے کہا کہ پاکستان برطانیہ کے ساتھ اپنے تعلقات کو بہت اہمیت دیتا ہے، پاک برطانیہ تعلقات عالمی امن اور سلامتی کے مشترکہ مقاصد سے جڑے ہوئے ہیں۔
خواجہ آصف نے کہا کہ برطانیہ میں مقیم پاکستانیوں کی بہت بڑی تعداد دونوں ممالک کے درمیان ایک پُل کا کام کرتی ہے، دونوں ممالک کے درمیان قائم فورمز کے ذریعے دفاعی تعاون میں ٹھوس پیش رفت ہوگی۔
ترجمان وزارت دفاع کے مطابق وزیر دفاع اور برطانوی ہائی کمشنر دونوں نے دونوں ممالک کے درمیان جاری تعاون پر اطمینان کا اظہار کیا، دونوں جانب سے تعلقات کو مزید مضبوط بنانے کی ضرورت پر زور دیا گیا۔

Khawaja Asif said that the large number of Pakistanis living in the UK acts as a bridge between the two countries, and there will be concrete progress in defense cooperation through the forums established between the two countries.
According to the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, both the Minister of Defense and the British High Commissioner expressed their satisfaction on the ongoing cooperation between the two countries, emphasizing the need to further strengthen the relationship.
