Belgium: Knife-wielding man arrested outside Prime Minister’s office

بیلجیئم میں وزیرِ اعظم کے دفتر کے باہر سے چاقو لیے شخص کو حراست میں لے لیا گیا۔
غیر ملکی میڈیا کے مطابق حراست میں لیا جانے والا شخص پیر کی صبح وزیرِ اعظم کے دفتر میں داخل ہونے کی کوشش کر رہا تھا۔
مقامی پولیس کے مطابق مسلح شخص نے سیکیورٹی پر مامور اہلکاروں سے تلخ کلامی کی اور دھمکیاں بھی دیں۔
ابتدائی طو پر حراست میں لیے گئے شخص کے عزائم معلوم نہیں ہو سکے تاہم اس حوالے سے تفتیش جاری ہے۔
غیرملکی میڈیا کے مطابق اس واقعے کے وقت وزیرِ اعظم الیگزینڈر ڈی کرو دفتر کے احاطے میں موجود نہیں تھے۔
بعد ازاں انہوں نے سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارم پر فوج اور پولیس افسران کا شکریہ ادا کیا۔
غیر ملکی میڈیا کے مطابق برسلز میں وزیرِ اعظم کے دفتر کے قریب سے یورپی یونین کے بہت سے دفاتر کی طرف راستہ جاتا ہے۔
علاوہ ازیں بیلجیئم کی حکومت کے بھی کئی دفاتر اس جگہ سے جڑے ہوئے ہیں جبکہ کئی وزراء کے دفاتر بھی وزیرِ اعظم کے دفتر سے متصل ہیں۔

Initially, the motives of the detained person could not be known, however, the investigation in this regard is ongoing.
