UAE has rolled over 2 billion dollars: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif

وزیراعظم شہباز شریف نے کہا ہے کہ متحدہ عرب امارات (یو اے ای) نے 2 ارب ڈالر رول اوور کر دیئے۔وفاقی کابینہ کے اجلاس میں گفتگو کرتے ہوئے وزیراعظم شہباز شریف کا کہنا تھا کہ متحدہ عرب امارات کے صدر سے ملاقات مفید رہی، باہمی تعلقات کو مضبوط کرنے کے اقدامات سمیت سرمایہ کاری کے حوالے سے گفتگو ہوئی۔
انہوں نے کہا کہ اماراتی صدر سے قرض ہدف کے متعلق سرمایہ کاری کی درخواست کی جس پر شیخ زید النہیان نے بھرپور تعاون کا یقین دلایا۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ یو اے ای نے رواں ماہ (جنوری) میں واجب الادا 2 ارب ڈالر رول اوور کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا، نائب وزیراعظم اسحاق ڈار سے گزارش کی ہے کہ سرمایہ کاری سے متعلق آگے بڑھیں اور معاملات کو آگے لے کر جائیں۔
’بجلی کی قیمتوں میں کمی کیلئے آئی ایم ایف کے پاس جانا پڑے گا‘
شہباز شریف نے کہا کہ معاشی سفارتکاری کی کوششوں کے ثمرات آ رہے ہیں، معیشت میں استحکام آ رہا ہے، ٹیکسٹائل برآمدات میں اضافہ خوش آئند ہے، بجلی کی قیمت کم نہیں ہوگی تو انڈسٹری، زراعت، ایکسپورٹ ترقی نہیں کرے گی، بجلی کی قیمتوں میں کمی کیلئے ہمیں آئی ایم ایف کے پاس جانا پڑے گا، جس میں یقینی طور پر ہمارے ساتھی بات کریں گے اور معاملات کو آگے بڑھائیں گے۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ لوئر کرم میں امن معاہدے کے بعد ڈپٹی کمشنر پر حملہ افسوس ناک ہے، حملے کر کے امن معاہدے کو سبوتاژ کرنے کی کوشش کی گئی، ڈپٹی کمشنر کا علاج جاری ہے، تمام زخمیوں کی صحتیابی کیلئے دعاگو ہیں، پوری قوم شہدا کی عظیم قربانیوں کی معترف ہے۔
وزیراعظم نے مزید کہا کہ انسانی سمگلنگ کا مکروہ دھندا کئی سال سے جاری ہے اس حوالے سے پوری یکسوئی کے ساتھ کام کیا جا رہا ہے، وزیرداخلہ کی ٹیم اور ذیلی ادارے اس مکروہ دھندے کے خاتمے کیلئے کام کر رہے ہیں۔

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has rolled over 2 billion dollars. Speaking at the Federal Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates was useful. Discussions were held regarding investment including measures to strengthen relations.
He said that he requested the Emirati President for investment related to the debt target, to which Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan assured full support.
He said that the UAE has decided to roll over the $2 billion due this month (January), requesting Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar to go ahead with the investment and take things forward.
‘We will have to go to the IMF to reduce electricity prices’
Shahbaz Sharif said that the efforts of economic diplomacy are bearing fruit, stability is coming in the economy, the increase in textile exports is welcome, if the price of electricity is not reduced, industry, agriculture and exports will not develop. We will have to go to the IMF for a reduction, which will certainly have our colleagues talking and moving things forward.
He said that the attack on the deputy commissioner after the peace agreement in Lower Kurram is regrettable, an attempt was made to sabotage the peace agreement by attacking, the treatment of the deputy commissioner is going on, the whole nation is praying for the recovery of all the injured. The great sacrifices of martyrs are acknowledged.
The prime minister further said that the heinous business of human trafficking has been going on for many years, and in this regard, the team of the interior minister and its subsidiaries are working to end this heinous business.
