پاکستان ہاکی فیڈریشن نے قومی کھیل کے احیا اور فروغ کے لیے دوسری چیف آف آرمی اسٹاف انٹر کلب ہاکی چیمپئن شپ کرانے کا اعلان کردیا۔ نیشنل ہاکی اسٹیڈیم میں سیکرٹری پی ایچ ایف رانا مجاہد نے پریس کانفرنس میں چیمپئن شپ کی تفصیلات بتائیں۔ ان کا کہنا تھا کہ ہم چیف آف ارمی اسٹاف جنرل سید عاصم منیر نشان امتیاز ملٹری کے قومی کھیل کی سرپرستی کرنے پر شکر گزار ہیں۔ دوسری چیف آف آرمی اسٹاف انٹر کلب ہاکی چیمپئن شپ میں پاکستان بھر سے 800 کلب حصہ لیں گے۔ کلبز کی رجسٹریشن کا عمل 11 دسمبر سے شروع ہوکر 15 دسمبر تک جاری رہے گا۔ جس کے بعد تمام صوبائی ہاکی ایسوسی ایشنز تین دن کی جانچ پڑتال کریں گی۔
چیمپئن شپ کے مقابلے چار مراحل میں ہوں گے۔ پہلے مرحلے میں 20 دسمبر سے پانچ جنوری 2025 تک ڈسٹرکٹ سطح پر کلبز کے درمیان مقابلے ہوں گے ۔ دوسرے مرحلے میں 8 سے 13 جنوری تک ڈویژن اور ریجنل سطح کے مقابلے ہوں گے ۔تیسرے مرحلے میں 15 سے 22 جنوری تک صوبائی سطح کے مقابلے ہوں گے۔ صوبائی سطح کے مقابلوں کے اختتام پر 10 ٹیمیں قومی سطح کے مقابلوں میں کوالیفائی کریں گی ۔ قومی سطح پر آخری مرحلے کا آغاز 3 فروری سے ہوگا۔ فائنل 15 فروری کو کھیلا جائے گا۔ قومی سطح پر پنجاب سے چار، سندھ اورخیبر پختونخوا سے دو دو ٹیمیں کوالیفائی کریں گے. بلوچستان ، اسلام آباد، آزاد کشمیر اور گلگت بلتستان سے ایک ایک ٹیم کوالیفائی کرے گی ۔ قومی سطح کے تمام میچ نیشنل ہاکی اسٹیڈیم لاہور میں کھیلے جائیں گے۔
چیمپئن شپ کو انتہائی پیشہ وارانہ انداز میں منظم کیا جائے گا جس کا مقصد نوجوان اور باصلاحیت ہاکی کھلاڑیوں کی تلاش ہے۔، جو آگے چل کر قومی ٹیم کا حصہ بنیں گے۔
ہریس کانفرنس میں اولمپئن آصف باجوہ، قومی ٹیم کے ہیڈ کوچ طاہر زمان اور اولمپئن انجم سیعد بھی موجود تھے۔

Pakistan Hockey Federation has announced to hold the second Chief of Army Staff Inter Club Hockey Championship for the revival and promotion of the national game. Secretary PHF Rana Mujahid gave the details of the championship in a press conference at the National Hockey Stadium. He said that we are grateful to Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir Nishan Imtiaz for sponsoring the national sports. 800 clubs from across Pakistan will participate in the second Chief of Army Staff Inter Club Hockey Championship. The registration process of the clubs will start from December 11 and continue till December 15. After which all provincial hockey associations will conduct a three-day test.
The championship will be held in four stages. In the first phase, there will be competitions between clubs at the district level from December 20 to January 5, 2025. In the second phase, division and regional level competitions will be held from January 8 to 13. In the third phase, provincial level competitions will be held from January 15 to 22. At the end of the provincial level competitions, 10 teams will qualify for the national level competitions. The final phase at the national level will begin on February 3. The final will be played on February 15. At the national level, four teams from Punjab, two from Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will qualify. One team each from Balochistan, Islamabad, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan will qualify. All national level matches will be played in National Hockey Stadium Lahore.
The championship will be organized in a highly professional manner with the aim of finding young and talented hockey players, who will go on to become part of the national team.
Olympian Asif Bajwa, national team head coach Tahir Zaman and Olympian Anjum Syed were also present in Harris conference.
