The pilot of a flight from London to Portugal was taken into custody by paramedics after landing and taken to Santa Maria Hospital in Lisbon, a red alert was issued on the flight after the pilot fell unconscious. Although the pilot was unconscious, the flight with 193 passengers landed safely. EasyJet can confirm that flight EZY 2459 from Luton to Lisbon was attended by paramedics after the pilot became unwell, an easyJet spokesperson told foreign media.
