Tajik Defense Minister meets Field Marshal, reaffirms commitment to enhance bilateral cooperation
تاجکستان کے وزیر دفاع کرنل جنرل صابرزادہ امام علی عبداللہ رحیم نے جنرل ہیڈکوارٹرز (جی ایچ کیو) راولپنڈی کا دورہ کیا جہاں انہوں نے فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر سے ملاقات کی۔
پاک فوج کے شعبہ تعلقات عامہ (آئی ایس پی آر) کے مطابق ملاقات میں باہمی دلچسپی کے امور، علاقائی سلامتی اور دو طرفہ دفاعی تعاون پر تفصیلی گفتگو ہوئی، دونوں ممالک نے دونوں افواج کے درمیان تعاون مزید بڑھانے کے عزم کا اعادہ کیا۔
آئی ایس پی آر کے اعلامیے میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ ملاقات کے دوران فوجی تربیت، انسدادِ دہشتگردی اور علاقائی امن و استحکام جیسے اہم شعبوں پر بھی اتفاق رائے ہوا۔
تاجک وزیر دفاع نے پاکستانی فوج کی پیشہ ورانہ صلاحیتوں اور علاقائی امن کے لیے کردار کو بھرپور سراہتے ہوئے کہا ہے کہ پاکستان کی مسلح افواج نے خطے میں امن کے قیام کے لیے نمایاں کردار ادا کیا ہے۔
اس موقع پر فیلڈ مارشل سید عاصم منیر نے خطے کی سلامتی اور خوشحالی کے لیے اجتماعی اقدامات کی اہمیت پر زور دیتے ہوئے تاجکستان کے ساتھ دفاع اور سلامتی کے شعبوں میں تعاون مزید بڑھانے کے پاکستان کے عزم کو دہرایا۔
Tajik Defense Minister Colonel General Sabirzada Imam Ali Abdullah Rahim visited General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi where he met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security and bilateral defense cooperation in detail. The two countries reaffirmed their commitment to further enhance cooperation between the two armies.
The ISPR statement said that during the meeting, consensus was also reached on important areas such as military training, counter-terrorism and regional peace and stability.
The Tajik Defense Minister, while highly appreciating the professional capabilities of the Pakistani Army and its role in regional peace, said that the armed forces of Pakistan have played a significant role in establishing peace in the region.
On this occasion, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to further enhance cooperation with Tajikistan in the defense and security sectors, emphasizing the importance of collective efforts for the security and prosperity of the region.
